Grassroots ( junior league) keeping Nrl accountable!

So I got a reply from nswrl regarding a Sydney style Hogs for homeless junior rugby league tour of Sydney. They said. “Thank you for your idea you obviously put a great deal of thought into this”. “ But this tour is just strictly for country areas of NSW” “We won’t be doing a Sydney style...

Grassroots ( junior league) keeping Nrl accountable!

I sent the NSWRL an email with this idea. Let’s see if they are more proactive than the Nrl who only try and defend themselves when replying to emails with suggestions.

Grassroots ( junior league) keeping Nrl accountable!

With the success of Brad Fittlers motorcycle ride through the country areas of NSW promoting the game and encouraging kids to play the game. I was thinking that Fittler, Menzies etc could do a Sydney tour starting at Penrith take about 5000 footballs some show bags and roll into the local park...

    2018 Crowd Watch

To answer a couple of your questions above. If some Sydney clubs had a spending spree like the knights did you have literally bought half’s 1st grade team with Pearce,Ponga etc. I’d say the Bulldogs,Souths, Parramatta the Dragons, Penrith could all attract at least 20k some 25k if they had...

    Zac Lomax

Spot on possum: I believe Lomax and Field need to be in our backline for us to be a force. Both could be wingers in place of nightingale and Nene.. Nightingale has been great but time for some youngsters to get a start and inject some much needed speed.

    2018 Crowd Watch

I reckon Knights will crack 20k against Manly. Saints are expecting close to a full house for the season opener I have been told.. Tigers v Roosters could drag in more now the new cheaper tickets at ANZ. .18k maybe 20k if weather is good.. Titans will get more than 8k I will say 15k.

Grassroots ( junior league) keeping Nrl accountable!

The Oztag state titles are being held in Coffs Habour this weekend. Junior league clubs should be there watching and signing up players for the upcoming season. At least have a marquee and some 1st grade players present to help out.

Ticket, food prices slashed for ANZ Stadium games in 2018

Best thing I have seen the clubs and nrl ever do for the fans! Thank you! I have sent the nrl more than a dozen emails over the last 10 years or so regarding ticket prices, food costs and filling up the lower bowl of seats first at ANZ stadium.. They finally listened to me and everyone on...

    2018 Membership Thread

I wonder if the Nrl could offer incentives for members that actually go to games. Take Souths for example. 26k members but they hardly attract fans to their games they are lucky to attract 10k.. Something like a reduction in next years membership if you actually attend 5 games and even more...

Dave Taylor sacked by the Wolfpack

What a fool Taylor must be. He was been sacked by the Titans, Catalans in France now the Wolfpack in Canada. Not even 1 game wonder what they did wrong. Probably a drug and alcohol bender breaking curfews I’d say.

    Zac Lomax

I was talking to a current 1st grade player of the Xmas break and I mentioned Lomax as a great prospect and do you think he will get a start soon. The 1st grade player said to me “ Na Mary’s not going to give him a run this season next season he will get a start”. I couldn’t believe what I...

I was 6 years old when St George made the grand final. Grassroots ( junior league) keeping Nrl accountable!

Great initiative having the women’s league tag teams affiliated with the junior clubs, the junior clubs could almost double their numbers if the woman’s game takes off on the back of the woman’s World Cup success. Every junior club should start up women’s league tag teams from this year onwards...
