    Penrith v parradontmatter

Api oh my what a play that was!! I’ve seen enough now get them all off to save any injury :joy:

    Penrith v parradontmatter

Yep our defence looks like it hasn’t dropped at all since last season which is very promising, even with some new combinations particularly Momo and Staines doing well in part to stopping a few raids down that side so far. Spencer Leniu is such a scary prospect for opposition teams, I think...

    Penrith v parradontmatter

His sarcasm is well warranted though, people being disappointed in who runs the team out or who takes the coin toss out of our co captains is just searching for reasons to hate when there really is nothing to hate on. Jarome Luai

    Penrith v parradontmatter

I don’t think that was alluded to anywhere, they were named as co-captains. Think it was more some on here wanted it that way so they assumed it would be.

Capewell into the starting side, Martin to the bench tonight. Very interesting.

    LU Penrith Panthers SuperCoach 2021

Yeah I try and head in that direction too, I think today’s trials as well as the first team lists will help me make my final choices!

    LU Penrith Panthers SuperCoach 2021

The backs are what I’m finding the hardest to pick, I had Jack Bird as one of them but not sure if I want him now that he will be playing in the centre’s as opposed to the 13.

Do you mean ‘their’ as in the coaching staff at the Penrith Panthers? :smirk:

Mansour isn’t named to start at this stage in tonight’s Charity Shield so it must not be too clear cut as the rest of the team is named as per full strength.

That would have made for an awkward trip back to the location for the Weidler follow up interview :sob: love it haha Deliver the news over a Tiger Pie

I wonder when these forums will be renamed from ‘Penrith Panthers’ to ‘Josh Mansour’ :joy: BRING ON ROUND 1 HAHA

I’m not denying any of the highlighted above, but I’m also more invested in looking to our future. I also probably think that Josh would have more support like yours over the broad Panthers fan base that isn’t just limited to these forums.

Prime example of how cut throat this business can and will be.

I also see this as falling into the same thinking that at no point could it have been done respectfully or with dignity to anyone looking at it with an emotional attachment to Sauce. It happens halfway through the year and it can be seen as disrespectful for putting it on Josh’s plate during...

Then you must see why I reacted unkindly to the last post accusing me of thinking of Josh in a certain way in terms of using Matterson as an example, when it’s quite clear I was speaking from the clubs point of view and not that of my own? To be honest, in the situation, whenever the club...

You literally ignored the rest of my post and also twisted what I wrote so no point in continuing this conversation lol

I apologise I mis-wrote the first part of my last post, I’m sure you knew I didn’t mean that they told him he flat out wasn’t going to play as I alluded to him working for a spot back in first grade at the end of the post. In reference to the second part about Josh giving less than 100%, where...

How could they have respectfully told him that he wasn’t going to be in first grade in 2021 halfway through 2020? I dare say it just would have felt exactly the same way for Josh, the way they did took away the risk of it affecting his performance or attitude towards the games remaining in 2020...

It’s all irrelevant really, same outcome whether he was told the minute after the grand final, halfway through the season or yesterday.
