    I don’t think anyone is expecting that to be the combo for anything more than a game or two anyway, and if that - I actually really rate Jarome’s short kicking game, an extremely overlooked aspect of his game. The kick he put through for Naden to score in Round 1 against the Roosters last year...

    Tyrone is a great player, very skilful with an underrated running game - would be a much stronger option than Hands at this stage. A Luai/May combo would be fun to watch if ever needed I think, but at this point it will still be Burton in for Cleary when it comes to that point.

    It really doesn’t matter what any of us think on here, the important thing is how the players are applying themselves. I highly doubt anyone involved at the club thinks that we just have to turn up and we will win.

    Yep great post! A ‘cash cow’ is a term that is thrown around a lot in SC. Pretty much a player who starts out low and is expected to make a whole lot of money from price increases. Staines would probably be the biggest of them all at this point for this upcoming season.

    Moylan is the exception for me, I don’t even know why to be honest - maybe because I loved him so much when he was our player that it hurt too much when he left. Plus his response to our fans when he scored against us didn’t help my feelings either lol
