    2018 Membership Thread

Smart by Storm to cash in on their success so far this season. SMH has the final membership numbers for 2017 in today's edition

Easts Amateur Juniors who played NRL.

Intercity. Bondi United's A Reserve played in a combined A Grade comp with the Cronulla teams but weren't really up to it (think they should've been down a division). I've also heard they struggled to get a full side most weeks and alot of the team were deeply affected by the unexpected death...

Can the Sydney Roosters win the Grand Final again this year?

Well better Rooster teams this have lost to worse Sharks teams than this. Personally I think there's something there with the chooks, but the stars would need to align for us to have a genuine hope. We're just not solid and consistent enough in all aspects of our game.

3 - Watson 2 - Cordner 1 - Keary Tremendous effort...and yes we were given a hard time by the officials, but man we really bottled that one. Two key plays in that last few minutes (Friend poor last play option, Aubs terrible read) cost us.No getting away from it, when the moment came we didn't...

    Cowboys 3 2 1s

He's a special kid. 80 minutes at 19 in an unfamiliar position, 51 tackles (some of them absolute bell ringers - Hi Coen), all with a potentially busted hand. Outstanding performance. 3 - SST. Incredible performance. Won us the game. 2. Radley 1. Liu Honorable mention to just about everyone else.

Easts Amateur Juniors who played NRL.

Updating the list to include Victor Radley who debuted on Friday. Also added in Shannon Donato who I've confirmed played for Paddo Colts. Junior clubs added as well. Ryan Cross (Clovelly Crocodiles, St Charles) Jim Dymock (Woolloomooloo Warriors, Paddington Colts) Craig Field (Paddington Colts)...

3 JWH 2 Friend 1 Gordon Cornish great and I have to give a rap to guerra. He rightfully cops it but that was his best game in two years. He was outstanding in defence on burgess. Also, I really like the look of Collins. Said the same after the Raiders game. He's one to watch next year... like...

Can the Sydney Roosters win the Grand Final again this year?

Speaking for myself and all other Roosters I know...no, we don't think that. We're just happy to be near the 8 after last year's debacle. If we can scrape into the semis, I will be happy. PS - I think Souffs will dust us tonight...can't tell you how much it hurts to say that,

    2017 NRL Club Membership

Outstanding - they've really done a great job down there in all respects. Well done Storm. Roosters 15,508. Hopefully can push to reach 16,000 this year.

Roosters’ plans to save Bondi golf club and Waverley bowling club

The charter of the football and leagues clubs are intrinsically linked, so yes it does. The Easts group I believe already has an extensive property portfolio and this will add to it, along with the revenue streams it should generate. It also ensures our Eastern Suburbs identity remains (for the...

    Sharks 3 2 1s

3 - Gordon 2 - Aubs 1 - Toops Yes it was poor, but to be honest I reckon we were exposed for what we truly are. A side with some promise and some good performances in them, but when it really comes down to it, we're not yet tough enough to beat the likes of the Storm or Sharks. Is what it is...

    SKD released

Makes me very sad but I understand the club's position. Such an up and down player and an absolute nightmare at times...but he was our nightmare and I love the bloke. 220 odd games, 120 odd tries and scoring the go ahead GF try after playing 60 minutes with a broken jaw. That intercept too...

    Who is excited for tedesco?

Yeah great signing for us but part of me feels for tigers too. Tough one to swallow but, and I say this not to rub it in, they really need to sort their shit out. If they're stable, none of this happens
