What a legend Puig Aubert was! As far as he was concerned his role was to kick goals and not be the last line of defense. I was only in primary school when France won the test series 3-0 against Australia in 1951. Apparently, he was famous for smoking a cigarette on the field occasionally and...

    Most embarrassing Dragons fans moments

Another 0-38 scoreline was just as cringe worthy, v Bulldogs in August 2018 at Kogarah Oval which knocked us out of the top four while Canterbury were in the bottom half of the table.

New consent laws are soon to be passed by the NSW Parliament, increasing the onus on the defendant to prove consent was given, partly because of the difficulty in obtaining convictions in rape cases. Will these laws apply in any new trial?

    2021 - Squad, Signings, Re-signings

Can Hook expel the last traces of Steve Price coaching from him? BTW, someone asked me if it was Price who first used the term " Dragons Footy" which eventually became a derogatory term?

Being an idiot is not an impediment to advancement in other fields, so why not in NRL coaching? Look who's "running" the country at the moment.

Balmain Tigers coach Leo Nosworthy passes on .

Tigers players slowed down play by continuously faking injury after being tackled. In those days the old St John's ambo volunteers would run into the field and play was stopped for every injury. It put South's right off their game. I think it led to rule changes after that.

    OT Prince Phillip RIP

Unlike many royal figures he actually led a full life with many rough edges. His Royal Navy career included service on several warships during WW2 in both the Atlantic and Pacific theatres during which he visited Australia. Even though he was born into the Greek royal family his early life was...

I'm still bewildered about letting Joel go in 2018. Another gem for the highlight reel : " 2014 - 2020: The Golden years."

    Farewell Ray Nicholson.

Just like to advise any fellow Illawarra Mafia accomplices who knew Ray that he passed away last weekend after a battle with cancer. Ray was a life member of the Steelers Club and on the support staff for the team before the merger. i was blessed to have Ray befriend me when we attended the...

    Charity Shield 2021

I don't agree with suggestions the Charity Shield is just another trial. Obviously Bennett and his players didn't think so either. The annual match has a proud history and proceeds support hospitals in both teams' areas, and both sides usually put close to their strongest line-up on the...
