Common sense would be keeping AD. He covers center as well, where we are skinny.

Hastings was an 80% goal kicker at the Chooks

    Season ‘22

WIll Kei and Tommy Talau are the only two I think we have left unsigned. And I think we still have two spots left to fill. From memory we can leave one spot until after the season starts, but even if we keep Kei and Talau we need one more.

I think the tragedy is these poor blokes from the golden years seeing how much money these numpties mate now. Could you imagine Steve Price's reaction to Mitch Moses making $1mln a year? Blokes that played broken for nothing more than pride.

    Season 2023

    Uninspiring but not disappointing extension

100% Ned. Munster would not only show the squad how to train hard, but also encourage other top level players to join. Hes one of the few players I would pay overs for.

    Season 2023

I usually start the season the same way TM. But not this time. We ran dead last, have bought two decent players and lost more depth. It will be us or the Titans last next year, with the Dolphins above at least both of us.

    Season 2023

Ive got 27 on the books including Talau and Kei who need contracts extended. Regardless, we must be expecting some more signings. Cant imagine they are going to fill all spots with upping youngsters.

I doubt this is the case, because we are too stupid, but possibly they are extending him on a reduced contract to be able to move him on and not have to chip in as much? These comments from Brooks a few months ago about signing the next contract thats best for him is interesting. Maybe there...

If we manage to get Bateman and do this rumored swap of Peachey for Staines id be slightly more optimistic we could finish above the Dolphins next year......

Im glad Offa extended as well. Im a bit surprised he did. Will now have to put him in the small group that "buys in"

Will the spoon be a catalyst for change?

Getting rid of Brooks provides two benefits: 1. Money to be spent elsewhere 2. The lack of ability for the coach to pick him.

TigerM I wouldnt put it past them
