2026 TV and Streaming Ratings thread

Dragons are the bums now. They won SG Ball 2 years ago. Made NSW Cup GF last year Are running 2nd in Flegg and NSW Cup this year. Over the next couple of years as those players filter in and the old guys leave. They will improve and if they are halfway decent. Their fans will actually watch...

    Round 5 versus Storm

Well because they needed to have 6 on the bench. Cogger came on in the 50th minute as the 4th interchange. So it didn't seem like it was a last minute change, if he was tossing up using Lussick in that role. It would have came later

The members get 1 seat on the board and 25% I think it is. Mike Cannon-Brooks can buy them out with the coins stuck between his lounge cushions if needed

    2026 rumoured and confirmed signings

He is the sort of player who would be perfect for PNG. Single man, middle of the road in his position. Instead of getting $400k here. Go there for $600k, no tax, no rent. Can add new birds to look at.

That won't always be the case though, at some stage they will develop And the better teams will drop

    2026 rumoured and confirmed signings

Key word being young, single bloke. Martin has a 5 month old, even a 2 year deal from 2028. Means his child is starting school either home schooled or in a 3rd world country. I have no doubt you will get some interest depending on the circumstances

There wouldn't be an Australian TV network that wouldn't be interested, whether they can afford or want to bid is the question

    2026 rumoured and confirmed signings

Exactly. If you are someone like Martin or Cleary you can get a huge payday from any team. Too soon for that talk yet

I doubt Paramount paid for the trip, they wouldn't be doing their job to not atleast look at it.

    Round 5 versus Storm

Round 1. Bench was Cogger Going Phillips Papalli. Substitute Cogger for Schneider and that is the bench we have ran for the last 2 years. Cogger - the bench half got 29 mins. In a game that was in the balance until late. That is a change in mindset not the rules

What I mean is they also run Channel 5 in England, like the names says they are the 5th watched over there. Program format seems very similar to channel 10 here. So that might be where they see the best value for money

    2026 rumoured and confirmed signings

Look at the who we play this week. There is why the story is out, PNG doesn't even have the village the players will stay at built yet. A player is going to want to know how that works 1st. So we are months away from players being at that stage

That would depend on what Paramount's new owners want from it.

    Round 5 versus Storm

That rule came in late, I think it will get tactically used later. Most coaches are using the 14-17 bench Bathurst is the outlier due to Cogger getting a HIA. 11 minutes against Roosters Lussick got We are still running the Garner, 2 props and a hooker/half bench. So yes we have better...

That could be it, TV knows the market. They will do their own research before bidding against themselves

Is there the appetite for that from TV? FTA are pushing for exclusive rights, We saw after the failed rights Dave Smith had what price Foxtel put on Super Saturday. Say they have just that and nothing else. The high cost of production probably out weighs the benefit of having the rights. So a...

Perth look like being very average playing wise, We need Knights, Dragons and some other larger clubs to lift their form to keep the numbers rising

    Round 5 versus Storm

I don't pretend to know more than Ivan. NRL coaches, Players etc don't watch as much footy or sport in general as we do. So in their little bubble then can miss trends and so on. I don't follow soccer so I guess it would be the same, but NBA, Cricket and other sports are all for limiting...
