    2013 QLD Origin Side

Can we please not turn this into another whinging, self-pitying NSWmen thread about Inglis? Surely we have enough of those already.

    2013 QLD Origin Side

If that's the case then strike his name. I thought he would be back for Rd1. If he's not available then I'd go O'Neill or Nielsen.

    2013 QLD Origin Side

Ashley Graham is barely FG standard.

    2013 QLD Origin Side

Disagree. Parker is a better worker than Sam. Better defender, and a better overall attacker with his offload.

    2013 QLD Origin Side

NSW continually fail to respect the importance of props. QLD ought not return the favour. 4 props is the go. Big games you need big men.

    2013 QLD Origin Side

Because Smith is the one player who, if injured, we cannot replace sufficiently without a proper acting half. If he got injured we'd be completely f**ked. Who would you have replace him with no specialist dummy-half in the team? Gillett, Barba? f**k that.

    2013 QLD Origin Side

I like Thaiday but his form last year was disgraceful, particularly in Origin. Parker did an excellent job starting in Game 3 and I think he's the overall better player. Sam would be better used for impact than Parker IMO.

    Origin Eligibility changes

Still waiting to hear a NSWmen come out and admit that their state has cheated. I freely admit QLD has cheated, not that it bothers me because I don't care about the fatuous eligibility rules. But it's pure hypocrisy for any NSWmen to charge QLDwith cheating without conceding their own state's...

    Origin Eligibility changes

Well, we'll have to agree to disagree. I think the NSWRL would've blooded Inglis before they blooded Grothe.

    Origin Eligibility changes

I find it very hard to believe that they would've picked Eric Grothe Jnr ahead of Inglis. Even after one season, everyone knew he was superstar material. Regardless, he would've played Origin for NSW if he'd chosen to. There's no doubt about that. To suggest he was influenced by money, as ECT...

    Origin Eligibility changes

Trewhella's does. Why aren't you admitting NSW has cheated?

    Origin Eligibility changes

Not even 2006 when he debuted in Game 1 which we lost, and then went on to win the next two games without him? You are a class A moron.
  16. M

    Origin Eligibility changes

Yeah, much better to force players against their will. If it's cheating then you have to concede that NSW are cheats as well. What a ridiculous thing to say. He didn't stand to make any more money playing for QLD than he did for NSW. Moron.

    Origin Eligibility changes

I can't help being a fair-weather fan of QLD.

    Origin Eligibility changes

How ironic that a post so adamant in it's condemnation of self-pity should be so infused with that very trait, from beginning to end. You weren't crying when you wrote this, were you? I'm not interested in the eligibility rules. Stated allegiance is all that matters to me. If Inglis...

    Origin Eligibility changes

We were stupid enough to pick, say. Greg Inglis? Yeah, what a massive mistake that was. I can just hear Cyril Connell rolling over in his grave right now.

Allstars Match - Do you care?

I think the concept would work better if it was what it purports to be - An All-Star game. Having one player from one team negates that. What on earth is, say, a Josh Dugan doing playing ahead of Billy Slater in an All-Star game?
