    Each NRL team should be assigned a pacific island region and Australian non-NRL regional area to develop. It should be part of the the funding agreement. They should be forced to train there for 2-4 weeks in the offseason.

    RL is a multicultural backed sport played in the most of Oceania. Once you add in those ratings plus the growth of 3 new teams in Australia, AFL just can’t compete. The ratings may not be that important now but will influence nrl tv memberships in the future.
