    Wouldn't hurt them to be rid of him. He looks very unfit and disinterested at the moment. Combine that with an ageing spine consisting of Walker & Cook who won't be getting any quicker or better and they're on a hiding to nothing.

    I'm not advocating for him to walk now, if he comes good this year I'm more than happy for the club to talk turkey with him. If he however continues to fall away I won't be upset if the club decide to let him go. If he has designs on being a club captain he needs to lead by example.

    He'll need to learn to use his shoulders in defence first. Can make up for his lack of lateral movement defending in the middle, but he'll need to be able to tag players on his own one on one. Can't hide a turnstile in the middle.

    To be quite honest if he doesn't kick on he can move on for mine. Can't get stuck in the same cycle as we did with Brooks waiting for a decade for players to finally kick on because they're waiting for the right set of circumstances. Good players will create the circumstances not wait for them.

    Richo's son is a player manager. Tigers have signed Faataape who is managed by him. We wouldn't be signing him if Benji didn't want him, and the kid is quite good.

In saying that, it appears that Benji understands that since he got his way and he has unfettered authority to run the team they way he wants the results will fall solely on him so...

    Yep, and Benji obviously agrees. I am glad we had extended him. He was unfortunate to suffer the injury he did last year, plus he also is capable at fullback too if Bula goes down and we need someone to shift there in a pinch.
