    Keary to Roosters

I agree, not a match changer. Solid skills but we need a more dominate half.

How will we go v Souths

Love it bottle +1. Very funny mate.

    team v souths

Gents love my Dragons - but widdops little repeated kicks on the left side were very poor. Especially one after the other. Reward our forwards good hard efforts in getting us close to the line, with better play than those kicks. Benji on his side was rippin.

Dragons rookie Euan Aitken as the next big thing

I know this young fella personally. Not just a great young footy player - also a polite and respectful person. Hope he kills it in Nz.

Dragons half Shannon Crook biding his time

I'm a big fan of Hutchinson too. Very mature and humble young man of 19yrs. Good solid performance in the cutters during 2014, knows where his roots are and loves the dragons. With Duffy I realise he has made some good teams being 20s and 18s origin. Even with his blistering speed I tend to...

Merry Xmas and Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas gents, go our mighty Dragons in 2015 (top 8, top 8, top 8)........... and what Dino said.

Dragons forward Trent Merrin moves closer to quitting St George Illawarra

Shame. I seem him locally round town a little. Always has time for the young lads. Is highly regarded as a good bloke locally. Time will tell for us all I guess.

Dragons forward Trent Merrin moves closer to quitting St George Illawarra

True saint - are you thinking it's done already?

Dragons forward Trent Merrin moves closer to quitting St George Illawarra

Gents, I don't want to see merrin go. Yes the guy is up and down on form sometimes but definitely more up then down. He brings some class and NSW Origin experience into a young developing forward pack. He adds a dimension with an offload option (we know it doesn't always stick) but I like it...

Thanks bottle and truesaint for the welcome. It's hard and expensive work developing our junior blood to see it walk away. Unfortunately is difficult to make some young men patient when they need to be. The grass is not often greener but brown when you arrive and get told the real story. I think...

Yes Gipp, they are related but not close. Funny they were telling me Matt Jurd played in Darwin this July for NSW in the Aussie Schollboys carnival. Stayed in the same hotel as Noel "Crusher" Cleal, who grew up in Whyalla with Stan & David. Crusher and Stan came down to Sydney together I believe.

Hi gents. Love reading your thoughts. Thought I might join and add my bit to the forum. I know the two young Jurd boys. Matt played NSWCHS, SG Ball & NSW 18s Origin this year. Younger brother Luke played Cronulla Harold matts and then Shellharbour 18s, which was 2+ yrs up in age. Matts a prop...
