    I mean he's played 21 games in 4 seasons. He's been a back up at the Sharks for 3. Sure he played well this year - I dont mean to bag him, but clubs haven't been lining up for him & he's been a reserve grader.

    Pretty much it. Also clubs can pay a contract forward if they have salary cap deficit for their upcoming season, although i'm not 100% on the amounts they can carry forward. Out of all of this though it is miraculous we managed to shed Hunt without having to pay him out/chip in.
