    Sharks Premiers 2016

I used to be a regular poster on this forum and others that pre-dated it, but it's been a long time since I posted anything now! About 8 or 9 years... I was a Sharks fan in New Zealand from age 13 until a few years back when I finally succumbed and bought a Warriors season ticket... I just...

    From an Indian Perspective

I will answer my own question: Oh yes it cretainly has. With the addition of Johan Santana from the Minnesota Twins, the Mets have pulled the biggest coup of the off season in snaring the best pitcher in the game right out from under the noses of the Red Sox and the Yankees who both wanted...

    Indian cricket chant

There is a chant that the Indian cricket supporters seem to do wherever they are in the workld and I heard it over the TV while watching the WACA test, as I have heard it live many times. It goes something like... and forgive me because this is almost certainly way off... Ki se wallah ki se...

I am a Mets fan too. Do you know if the pitching staff has been improved ahead of the new saeson? I have not been able to find much news. I love the long season. Lots of games to watch, although the times are not too convenient on ESPN in NZ. Always on weekdays while I am at work.

    Transfer Rumours

Manuel Fernandez is undergoing a medical with Everton (again) and if he passes he will come to Goodison on a 6 month loan deal (again) with a view to making the move permenant in the Summer (again). http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/e/everton/7180159.stm

    Another Shambles in Italy

I have been to 3 games in Italy including a derby between Roma and Lazio and I never saw a single act of violence. Nothing. Zip. Zilch. I was cheering my lungs out for Roma and waving a scarf around while standing less than 20 metres away from the Lazio supporters. There was no danger at all...

    Another Shambles in Italy

I accept your apology and I accept that you were not defending the comment about the gas chambers. That comment was a big part of where I was coming from with my original post. The Italians are arseholes one I would have let go if it was not for the other one. But nobody should have to read...

    Another Shambles in Italy

    1. I don't live in Australia. 2. I don't actually have any problem with Australians. [EDIT: I am a Sharks fan for goodness sake] What I was trying to do was to demonstrate that some of the things that are said about Italians on this forum are hurtful, I had hoped (clearly in vain) that when...

    Greatest Rivalries

There have been a lot of great games in the past when NZ and Australia have played off for the top qualifyer for Oceania in World Cup qualifying. There have been a lot of games that Australia have expected to win comfortably, only to find themselves defeated.

    Greatest Rivalries

I don't think that is true. Just ask anyone around this forum giving the kiwis a hard time atm about their poor sporting year. You say you don't care, but you care alright. It may even be easy to say you don't care because you have not lost anything for a while, but the shoe is on the other foot...

    Greatest Rivalries

I can't think of many other pairs of countries that have great rivalries accross the board. Most others like England or any European countries have a vast array of countries as close neighbours to play against. NZ and Australia are stuck down here in the middle of nowhere with noone els to pick...

    Greatest Rivalries

Club level, Boca v Riverplate is generally regarded as the biggest rivalry but they are all great. Roma v Lazio is my favourite. The biggest game I have been to. You know they hate eachother when they all have two scarves. One with their team name, and one in their team colours that says...

    Painting a House

I used to be a professional painter in NZ. Best thing is to get a tool called a Linbide Scraper. Any paint shop should sell you one for about $20. They have a tungston blade which should last you a whole weatherboard exterior without needing to be changed. Make sure you thoroughly clean the...

    Another Shambles in Italy

Thanks for proving my point. When people are slurring all Italians, to object is to be a PC @rsehole, yet when someone slurs Australians you show them the door. Double standard?

    Another Shambles in Italy

No it is not ok to knife people, but if you stick your head in a crocodile's mouth and it bites it off, then it is more your fault than the crocodile's. You get over yourself you bigoted merkin - all australians are whining pillocks! Did I say anything wrong?

    Another Shambles in Italy

This is a Racist comment. Plain and simple. As was the one by dragonsforthewin. I don't care if these things are meant in jest or not, they are against the policies of this site as I read them and should not be tolerated. And this from http://goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=522722...
