Whilst a little improved I am again getting frustrated with our team. I know it is a long season and we are yet to see the best from our team but I am unsure if I can survive another season of disappointment. I would appreciate some enouraging words that would allow to restore my faith.

I am with you. they frustrate me no end. I just find the footy season so stressful and it wears me out!
The last time I had peace during a season was when they had the 2 year lay off thanks to news limited!

Tha is funny Tbunny. As I said it is a long season so one of two things can happen, we enjoy the saeason because our team plays to its potential or we confinue to be miserable...I hope the first.

0-2 is dissapointing. No doubt about it.

But we haven't played against nuffy teams. IMO both will be playing finals footy this year and we were within minutes of beating both.

As much as it pains me to say I think Wesser should have just played his last game. We should politely ask him to retire and have a job offer ready for him because he's a genuinely good bloke who has given a lot to the game.

There have been positive signs. I've been impressed with Roy both weeks. He is our captain and has led from the front, he finished the year strongly in 2010 and has started strongly.

Sandow aswell, he has his share of critics but he's impressed me both weeks. His FG's both weeks should have been game winning fg's if we had our act together.

We have the Eels next friday night. Relatively easy opposition, this should be the round we turn our season around.

You need to make that decision for yourself Jetrider.
Whilst i can understand how you feel, you support a club through everything that comes your way & you never waiver in your commitment to your club.
Following Souths can be a frustrating experience but if you are just following the club for our past achievements then you need to reasses why you follow the club in the first place.
For myself, Souths will always be my team no matter what & i aint going nowhere.

The Eels are coming off a loss so they will be looking for a win as well.
It might come down to who want's the 2 points the most however we need to improve big time for that to happen.

No opposition is easy these days, especially for a team like ours that plays up and down. Hope you are right and our season kicks off against Parra

There are no words of encourgement for u champ, it will be another long year for u, and dont bother bagging Parra as I am thinking same for us, but we arent one of the favourites :lol:, oh yeah F--- Y-- 2.

I am so frustrated with our kicking game in general our last tackle options are truly going to be the death of our team this season can we ever get it right. Also Jamal out played Gi by a long shot. We should move him to fullback ASAP. One more thing we can only play for 70 mins when we can play to 80 mins we might win.

I have been with them since the sixties and I wont be changing that.

Stats show if you lose your first two games, you have very little chance of making the finals, and bugger all chance of winning the big one.

Well from what i've been told Mr Spock privatisation was going to be the great saviour of our club & as from the 19-3-2006 we were supposed to unbeatable due to the professionalism of these changes.
Maybe you should pose that question to Rusty as he might have a clue as to when it's all going to come together.

Do South's fans truly believe that their roster is good enough to win a comp???? I doubt it. The prop rotation is average and the halves are what most people think they are - extremely inconsistent. Why the f**k didn't they pepper Barber with the high ball today??????? Dumb, dumb.dumb. Barber had the number one on his back but yet was not put under any pressure whatsoever. I can't believe the Dogs got away with hiding him for 80 minutes. Incomprehensible. Inglis, I'm sure when fit and around origin time will come good however the backline is atrocious. Good luck to John Lang steering that ship around. Burgess is by far your best player and it's bad luck having him on the sidelines but................. big money for big name players leaves little room for depth and means you struggle when hit by injuries.
