Disappointing but well played by the Sharkies.

Top notch defence and shut Campo down effectively. I think nerves cost us this one. Hopefully we get another shot.

It will be interesting to see what happens with Marc Herbert during the week.

Buttriss tried his heart out, but we need a fulltime halfback in the 7.

Solid win by the Sharks. They had it from start to finish. Fantastic defence and completely shut out Campo. Although it looks like we'll get another crack next week, i almost don't want one after tonights effort.

Come on mate, stay positive, unlike the mopers over at the gh.

The more finals experience this team gets the better we'll be next time.

True. Just a really disappointing game. We looked so flat and were completely outclassed in defence. I can't see how one week is going to help our fringe defence. Also, did we only make one line break all game? I obviously want us to survive enough week, just not sure if i can be optimistic any more.

Good games from Logan and Tilse. Kelly played well and Picker did was he was asked.

i watch alot of raiders games.

you can tell if theyre on after 5 minutes.

they weren't on. silenced Campese. Best was woeful.

dodgy call on the foward pass didnt help them, but i doubt it made much difference. Sharks were all over it.

hopefully the sharks will win again next week and the raiders get another shot and do better.

With that said we had slow starts against Panthers, Souths and Bulldogs and came back and dominated those games. Tonight just proved that we aren't a genuine contest against the stronger teams at the moment. The teams made great head way this year, but not at the top level yet. Oh, and although i didn't think it was a forward pass i doubt it affected the outcome. I wish Purts took that intercept in the first 30 seconds, would be interesting to see how things would of panned out.

Sharks deserved to win that game, that forward pass was a terrible call but there were a few against us in the beginning which I guess no one picked up because we were on top.

I know if things had have been different blah blah blah, i thought the Raiders were good up front, i thought we were better. Between Ross's HU and Noddy's kicking that was where the game was won.

Our attack is also well and truely alive and I'm glad we stepped it up.

Melbourne and Manly are still better imo but they can have off days and our defense patterns are the only team in this years semi's that could rattle that.
