I would think two video refs would make more mistakes. One would be like hurrf that looks like a try and the other would be like durrrr i dont know

and then they just mash the button and hope that whatever is randomly determined is correct.

That's exactly what's happening I reckon!

No pair of commentators every agree on a try when it goes to the video footage, so how are two refs going to agree.

The video ref is a lottery, adds no suspense to the game, only interrupts the flow and adds frustration. Needs to be canned, or at least scaled back. But unfortunately too many people are now making an income out of it for it not to keep growing and growing.

No idea how they'll work the two on-field referees idea. Bound to fail (again) I reckon, like every time they've tried it. The secret is to simplify the rules (no dominant/submission tackle crap, no wrestle just penalise) so that a single ref can handle it, just like they used to.

thats why I said Ill have to takw another look dickhead.

and until I do see it again (maybe in halftime) I stand by that. ryles was running a decoy, if he went through the line it would be fine, but he ran into orford. I think perhaps the player to the side of orford who did attemp a tackle may have got orford tangled up in a bit, but orford didn't attempt a tackle.

and you are the second person to say orford is a pansy for getting knocked down by ryles. halfback versus prop. how much does ryles weigh against orford? how tall is ryles compared to orford? pull your heads in.

These incidents of staying down to get a penalty need to be stopped. I think they need to reconsider allowing the video ref to rule on it. It's ugly and everyone is exploiting it.

It's been a no try all year, same tonight. I don't really agree with it but Manly have had plenty of no trys from the same situation this year, they've drawn a line and said the decoys can't interfere with the defence. Could you imagine what would happen if they allowed that? You'd have decoys taking out the defence all over the shop.

Not a great game by Manly but who cares if we're winning!
