Hayne is set to be axed for this match.

Update on injuries for Bulldogs:

Reni Maitua set to play, was originally scheduled for Round 4 return.
Daryl Millard will not play. Is scheduled for Round 2 return.
Nick Kouparitsas will not play. Is scheduled for Round 5 return.
Charlie Leaeno and Justin Tsoulos likely not to play. Both scheduled for a Round 1-3 return.
Willie Tonga and Chris Armit may still not play, but are more likely to take the field than not.

I wouldn't mind seeing Winitana get a go if Tonga's not fit.

My team:

1 Patten
2 El Masri
3 Emelio
4 Winitana
5 Utai
6 Holdsworth
7 Roberts
8 D Williams
9 Sullivan
10 Cleal
11 SBW
12 Ryan
13 Maitua

14 TeMaari
15 Hickey (unfortunately)
16 Briggs
17 Sullivan

If Sullivan did to the Eels what he did to the Panthers, 34-16 win. If not, Eels will win 26-18. Random numbers yes, never know.

Reddy isn't that great in defence tbh, he'll be coming into the side to replace Hayne I'd say.

This will be the exact opposite of the 2004 round 1 match between the 2 teams.

Eels by 20 or so.

and sullivan will be running up the middle of the ruck from dummy half not out wide, he will be running into hindmarsh, cayless and riddell.

I also think wagon will be in the centres to replace hayne, hages seems to like playing wags out there

should be a close game, dogs have lost some talent, but Parra are usually slow starters to the season, I reckon Parra will get up by 8-12 points.

The Dogs will be fired up...and well the Eels always start the season slowly...what are your thoughts, Tim?

I'm thinking 6-8pts in our favour. Reason being Parra will remain rattled following the commotion surrounding Hayne/Hauraki/Paulo and given our performance against Penrith (I know it was only a trial) I think we're being extremely underrated this year.
