if it wasn't SOO i would have had trouble picking this one, but since it is, brisbane have been mugged of thier stars and i think will struggle, no doubt theres still some good talent there, but they haven't played this team apart from training runs, since its cronullas home turf as well that will bring alot of confidence in the sharks team which has played together consistantely, and only loses a few players to SOO.

so sharks by 12

Some little facts...

38 games between them, Brisbane are up 24 wins to Cronulla's 14.
16 games at Toyota, Cronulla hold the advantage with 9 wins to 7.

They have met twice in each of the past four seasons, the Sharks only winning one clash of those eight, last year's 16-8 win at this ground, Toyota Stadium.

Cronulla smashed Brisbane 38-8 at Endeavour in 1988, Brisbane got their revenge at Lang Park three years later, returning the favour 40-2 in 1991. Neither team has managed as big a victory since.

Why isn't he playing?

Cronulla are missing Reece Williams (knee, season), Ben Ross (suspended, back next week) and Kevin Kingston (ankle, back in R21). Brisbane are in far more strife, missing captain Darren Lockyer (knee) until Round 15. Steve Michaels season is also over with a knee injury.

more facts

played in a few semis the sharks and broncs

2001 sharks win
2000 broncs win
1999 sharks win
1997 broncs win x 2
1996 sharks win
1989 (playoff for 5th) sharks win

so the broncos will be in maroon and yellow then?

That ruling is living proof the video refs are clueless or need new TV's to help with decision making. TC touched that before grounding it.
