Storm: Depleted severely
Titans: Worst game of the year from GC.. plus cant play away from home
Roosters: Didnt turn up..Dragons took advantage
Manly: Ordinary ..

When the Dragons actually play against a decent side and win then ill give them credit..

Are you implying that the rooters are sh*t?

Ahh yes it was... First angle showed clearly Morris touched it. But speaking of benefit of the doubt where was it for Stewart?

Dragons are still rubbish...if they had played a decent side tonight they would have got dusted by plenty

You're probably right though. However, if you blokes are gonna say the Stewart knock on was a try, well we're gonna be just as one-eyed about the Nightingale try. 'Twas a silly comparison made by one of your compatriots.

But seriously.. I dont have anything against the Dragons. 99.8% of supporters are decent so to those congrats..

My gripe is with a particular troll who is a dragons fan... who thinks its necessary to come into a certain teams forum and rubbishes them non stop. You guys would be better off without the moron

Btw what about the Dragons' wins:

Storm, Titans, Roosters, Manly

Theres something sadly funny about that!

Same for the Knights except Storm.. then again Storm had all their players for us plus it was at the graveyard.

f**king tipping btw... can't pick 'em for sh*t this year :fist:

At the ground on the big screen I thought they were both No Trys.

We also save out sh*t matches for the Queens so I sort of half expected an uninspiring performace like that...we choked...

They should have taken Watmough off when he was lala...cost us 4 pts.

Orford had a shocker, kicking game especially.

He's a Newcastle fan you dopey f**ker.

That Nightingale try was a rort. Looked pretty clear that it touched Morris' hand before going into Williams'. These sorts of tries (where two players go up for it, ball hits attackers hands before going forward into the defenders) are disallowed ALL the time, and considering some of the disallowed tries that HAVEN'T received benefit of the doubt, it's bloody annoying.

That being said, Stewart's also wasn't a try, and the Dragons halves were too good for us. Their style of attack up through the middle always seems to break through us somehow.

Matai's brain explosion also cost us the game, but the whole let's play to the end of the set and then go back for the penalty has to be the worst rule in the league. If it's a penalty, give it then and there, don't wait fifteen minutes to go back to it.

Agreed, why it took so long for that penalty was a bit wtf?

Don't think anyone doubts Manlys ability, just always hard for GF teams to back up the previous years effort. Saints...well yeah there has always been potential, but two very bad performing teams tonight.

Expect BETTER from both in the weeks to come.

The storm would have beaten newcastle , actually newcastle struggled against the gold coast and manly, and yet newcastle had the majority of the ball.
So current form newcastle is sh*t, newcastle is another manly have no attack , newcastle can not play wiht out thier playmakers and the dragons can. Manly was at full strength and probably would have beaten newcastle wiht newcastle had thier playmaker out

Like i said manly can only beat the dragons wiht steve clarke as an official, otherwise it should be 8 out of the last 8 games dragons have beaten manly not 7 to 1

Are you saying Manly are worse than rubbish?

And nope, it wasn't that clear. Benefit of the doubt applied, Saints were awarded the try fair and square.

Stewart's was clear cut... he lost it. Next you'll be saying that Menzies grounded the ball as well.

Sounds like you're just sore about the result. I understand.

Four tries to three.

You mean like Soward's try against the Cowboys when we lost by four points or the try we had disallowed against the Eels where we lost by one point?

Have the game on video and just went back and had a look at the Nightingale try and Stewart no try.

Still thought that there were 2 Dragons knock ons in that Nightingale try. In the Stewart one, it was as clear cut as i 1st thought, his left hand actually stays on the ball the entire time, not sure he had control of it, but if the other one was BOTD, then the Stewart one could/should have been as well.

Having said that, i beleive that both tries should have been ruled the same way, no try.

And there is no blame on Cooley for the loss in the above statements, Manly were not good enough and didn't deserve the 2 points.
