This game could be decided by who can inflict a better chicken wing.

Melbourne by whatever attitude they turn up with.

Melbourne may go into their clash with last-placed South Sydney in Gosford tomorrow night with all nine of their Origin stars available. If that happens, Queensland lock Dallas Johnson would play despite being a long shot immediately after the game. He was knocked out by an accidental knee from Blues forward Willie Mason in the dying stages of Wednesday night's clash.

"He's had a concussion screen and he passed it with flying colours," said Mary Toomey, Melbourne's high-performance manager. "That's not to say he'll definitely play, but he's ticked one box."

Maroons centre Greg Inglis suffered soreness to his knee, but remains a strong chance of playing for the Storm.

"He was the same after the Test match and he backed up after that," Toomey said. "There were a few good corks, but nothing likely to keep any of them out. They were all pretty good, apart from being a bit stiff, sore and tired. We'll just see how they go over the next 24 hours."

The Rabbitohs will be without centre Beau Champion for a month after he underwent a knee arthroscopy this week. John Tamanika will replace him.

Always weary about these games, especially since the Rabbits really should've beaten us at the same venue last year. I could be wrong but I don't think it'll be the walkover some are expecting so i'll say Storm by 10.

concerned with that too, expectations are high that the rabbitohs will roll over but i don't see it that way either and it has nothing to do with current form otherwise they should get a hammering.
Real interested to see the storms attitude here as its not every day that a team gets 9 players involved in an origin match with their coach trying to get half of them bashed up and beaten.
Probably won't make a difference but i'd just like to see it nonetheless.
Storm by under 10 for me

Well, watched the Toyota Cup, and we smashed them up.

Come on boys, at least play with some passion in FG, that is all we ask.

Unfortunately a dinner beckons, so all the best tonight boys. Look forward to watching the win when I get back. :thumb

Storm lucky to get their try also. Should have been a change over. No Souths player touched it. Went back off Hoffman.

Souths are so inept in attack, they have had all the ball, all the good field position, great completion rate and they have scored 0. Any other team would have scored a few tries againest Melbourne tonight and I would say an upset is possible, however its Souths, the Storm will go on to win this.

Certainly cold in Gosford, just 7 degrees at the moment.
