Melbourne may go into their clash with last-placed
South Sydney in Gosford tomorrow night with all nine of their Origin stars available. If that happens, Queensland lock Dallas Johnson would play despite being a long shot immediately after the game. He was knocked out by an accidental knee from Blues forward Willie Mason in the dying stages of Wednesday night's clash.
"He's had a concussion screen and he passed it with flying colours," said Mary Toomey, Melbourne's high-performance manager. "That's not to say he'll definitely play, but he's ticked one box."
Maroons centre Greg Inglis suffered soreness to his knee, but remains a strong chance of playing for the Storm.
"He was the same after the Test match and he backed up after that," Toomey said. "There were a few good corks, but nothing likely to keep any of them out. They were all pretty good, apart from being a bit stiff, sore and tired. We'll just see how they go over the next 24 hours."
The Rabbitohs will be without centre Beau Champion for a month after he underwent a knee arthroscopy this week. John Tamanika will replace him.
