Eric Grothe MOM for sure. Scored 4 tries for brisbane tonight, including a brilliant effort with no time left on the clock.

Serious is the prick ever going to get dropped from first grade?? He is living off the name of his dad, who himself only played a couple of seasons himself. If he is in the team again next week someone should shoot Hagan

I guess those worried about Lockyer for game two can hush now.

One of the games greatest comes back, again proves the difference in a close game and will lead QLD from 1-0 down to go 2-1 ;-)

Feel for the eels in that one, played well for a lot of the game and still won.

Oh well... 1/2.

Geez some of you guys are dopey. Hodges sent off? FMD take the anti-Broncos glasses off for a second. Hodges didn't drill him into the ground and IMO he'll get 1-2 weeks max.

Superb game despite how much influence Robinson had on it (both ways). Inu's second try had me (yes me) clapping it. Then Lockyers play just had me in total ecstasy. Best game in the past decade, no questions asked.

Oh, I nearly forgot the Ikinism for tonight.

" At times this year Broncos have been really soft in the head. "

Was Locky really that good? He only played, what, 25 mins?

Don't get me wrong, more power to Brissie for doing us without him there....but IMO he shouldn't have played and did very little til the 81st minute brilliance

Agreed Bazal. It was Ennis and Hunt who were the main destroyers for us, but really that winning try just shows us the sort of player that Locky is. He was only out there for around 30 mins last night, or something. With his first touch of the ball, he kicks a grubber that gets us a repeat set. With his last touch, he kicks to Kemp to score the winning try. Just class, experience and a cool head under pressure - it was what we desperately needed to land the killer blow!
