Roosters were very impressive without their SOO players against the Eels and I think they'll have too much flair for a turgid Manly team.

Tough call here. Sea Eagles somehow dropped that game to the Dragons at home, but still looking the goods this season. Roosters could go all the way this season. As much as I hate to say it, the Roosters are looking great at the moment. Roosters by 8 in a low-scorer.

We wont lose 2 straight home games.

Pressure is on Manly in this one. The Roosters will be without Fitzy, Tupou, Mason and Myles. While Manly will be without Stewart and Cuthbertson. Manly will be favourites but something tells me that even without most of our forward pack we'll still be too good for Manly. I reckon we'd flog them with our full strength team!

Pfft and pfft. Our wingers can jump.

We'll be without Lyon and Kite too.

Lyon and Kite didn't get picked for NSW so they'll be there. Manly are overrated. The Roosters and Melbourne are much better than them.

56-0. Anyway Manly are very very underrated, as everyone has said we are in third position and moving along very quietly. Manly should win this one and win it very easily imo.

Hopefully Minichiello will be back this week, he makes so many meters from returns that he could make up for our missing pack. Heart says Roosters by 10, head is saying Womanly:(.

Although a hard assignment at Brookie, I think last year's flogging will be a good motivator for the boys plus Mini's back. Us by two tries.

Sydney Roosters fullback Anthony Minichiello will return to the Roosters lineup this Sunday when the tricolours travel to Brookvale Oval to tackle the Many Sea Eagles.

Minichiello who hasn’t played since round four against the Canterbury Bulldogs hasn’t let the frustration of his back injury get him down.

Ahead of his long awaited return the Roosters custodian knows the importance of managing his injury and continuing his rehabilitation for the rest of 2008.

“It’s feeling good,” Minichiello said.

“It’s progressing from week to week so I’ll be able to jump in with the boys later in the week and do a few of the sessions and see how I pull up afterwards.”

The 2005 Golden Boot player of the year concedes that his injury and its initial occurrence is a much a mystery to him.

“I wouldn’t have a clue myself,” Minichiello said of how the injury first occurred.

“It flares up every now and again so I just try and manage it as best as I can.”

One thing the former Australian and New South Wales representative player knows is that having played 41 games in 2004 could have not done him any favours.

“There was three years where I hardly missed a game,” he said.

“I played 94 games in three seasons so that’s what has contributed to what I’m suffering now I suppose.”

Minichiello believes that the best option to look after the welfare of players and reduce the threat of player burnout would be to reduce the amount of games played each season.

“20 rounds would be nice but that’s not going to happen,” Minichiello lamented.

“I think they need to work out something because you look at every year and see how many top line players are getting injured.

“Past the age of 25 is really when the injuries start to occur,” he said.

“It has happened to me and we are seeing it happen now to Darren Lockyer and Robbie Farrah.”

The Roosters star is just relieved that he can run out to do what he loves this Sunday afternoon and hopefully continue through to September.

“I just want to play the full season out,” he said.

“I haven’t done that in the last couple of years so that’s definitely my goal.”

When was the last time we beat Manly those bastards lol... they're not as easily beaten as some here would say but I am pretty confident as long as we have Anasta and Pearce out on the field together.
