A few things:
1. Bicey - lol.
2. The Roosters have scored plenty of tries through the hands this year, and they should have been awarded one today. No it wasn't the most convincing win, but the Knights scored one off a bomb and one off a soft dummy half missed tackle.. Would you say the Knights flexed their attacking muscle anymore than the Roosters?
3. The Roosters' line defence kept them in the game - noone is mentioning that.
4. Mason is in a rough patch but is a great player.. he has played some monumental games this year.. but of course people will only notice the bad games.
Bicey mate, sh*t canning the c**ks for scoring off kicks is pretty short sighted. If it were the Knights up there in the top 4 scoring 57% (yes 57%, which is hardly all) from kicks you would be praising their brilliant attack.
Fact is the Knights made wwwwaaaaayyyy too many errors which cost us the game. Not the roosters kicking, not the video ref, not Gary Freeman, just too many errors plain and simple.
Some have got to be kidding here...goosters get 2..thats 2! tries from fluffy duck kicks and then "Benefit of the doubt"bullsh*t..Buderus/Paterson had you ripped to shreads and only for a little forethought to keep his arm up in the tackle...bit of a reality check for you lot...you were very lucky to get...well...lets look at it... any tries!
I been saying it the last few weeks in the Knights forum.
I envy the Roosters ability to execute attacking kicks and score off of them.
I think we've scored like 4 times off of kicks this year, that's just piss poor if that's the case.
Pretty much sums it up.pretty frustrating to be a knights fan at the moment. now i know how the dragons fans have been feeling the last 4 or 5 years. so much potential, no consistency. we dropped way too much ball to win a game of football against the roosters (mind you, they did too.. a draw would have been somewhat appropriate), however we just lack the killer instinct at the moment. when a game is in the balance we don't know how to close it off and play high percentage football.
i'd like to say well played roosters, but i can't, because they were just as sh*tty. it's a bit early to be looking towards next year already, particularly as we're still in the 8... but we really need to start gelling better before we're considered a force in the competition again. for the moment we'll be the team that no-one wants to play against, because you never know what you're going to get.
Hey for once I would love to see the Roosters score without kicking... just once
