I'm just thankful we got a point out of that ugly match.

meh we've got no attack but we've also got no luck. But a draw is atleast something, i guess. Nice try by Jennings.

A little disappointing that the Broncos couldn't seal the win, but I would have gladly seen Brisbane take a point out of the game if asked during the week.

McCullough was solid, and seemed to become more and more involved as the game progressed. It was good to see him willing to run the ball on the last, and it nearly came off for the team. He should be the utility on the bench if Ennis misses any upcoming games.\

At least the single point will mean that for-and-against won't really factor into the teams final placing (except against the Panthers).

As the commentators mentioned, a fair result all things considered.

that kid can't kick for sh*t! how did they let him kick the last goal kick after not even coming close before that? & his field goal attempts were even worse.
I don't know how he got MOTM? he did a few good things but wasn't the best player. Prithard should have got it.

I said before the game, sammut should have been playing. If he was there penrith would have won. Penrith needed these points, matty elliot is a clown. With no proper halfback you would want as many play makers & attacking players.

& that graham didn't do jack sh*t, besides 1 or 2 alright bombs. I think sammut would be real good in the 6. he had too much pressure on him in the 7. he will have a lot more room to run & with him pritcahrd & jennings the panthers would be very dangerous.

& that young hooker iosefa needs to step his game up. even though his forwards didn't give much of a go forward. from what i've seen of him in the 20's he has a lot of potential. the panthers are realy missing priddis.

This result, or no result probably helps both sides, 1 point each. Thats the benefit of a draw.

I do think Penrith shouldve went for touch instead of trying to kick for goal 42m out, I mean a big ask for a young kid to try and win the game in such a tough position. Poor decision. Still a good attempt though it just went to the left.

sammut was injured that is the reason he did not play. The team willcontinue to struggle while they have to carry the nuffy Elliott. No game plan no idea

 That was the "excuse" this week?

We didn't deserve to win that game, so the one point is a bonus. I hate golden point, so it's the best result.

Only the second draw since golden point was introduced - Penrith's first draw since Round 19 1998.

We should have kicked for touch in golden point rather than go for the conversion. At least we could have got in field goal range.

.

A draw atleast means we don't have for and against deciding where we finish now.

P.S. Not to be a stats nerd but its Penrith first draw since our 22 all draw with the Bulldogs late in 1999. And I think there's been more draws than just 2, souths have had atleast 2 but I'd have to look that up.
