Massive game for the raiders
am heading down there for this one
we're on 18 points and if we want to make the 8 without the added pressure of winning another away game, we must win our remaining 5 home games, including this one... 5 of our last 8 we need to get to 28 points which imo will get a place in the 8...

Cant wait!

Roosters have to aim up, otherwise the Raiders will beat them rather comfortably. I still think the Roosters can win this one if they do turn up.

Yeah for sure, he is our lesser version of SBW (sadly including the injuries). That offload he got away last week when he dislocated his shoulder was amazing, and the try he got was bloody good as well. At least we get Soliola's defence back this week.

Roosters should scrape in a win here.

They will be dissapointed after losing a game they should have won by a massive margin IMO. Raiders will put up a great fight though.

--------

Watch out Raiders: Here comes a bombing raid with ferocity.

First, the Roosters score more tries from kicks than any other side; currently they have 29, which is 44 per cent of all their four-pointers.

Second, the Raiders are the NRL’s worst team when it comes to conceding tries from kicks, having had 22 put past them to date.

And third, the Raiders are the worst in the NRL at successfully stopping high bombs, giving Braith Anasta and co a 62 per cent chance of a result every single time they hoist the ball up into the stratosphere.

Watch out Roosters:
The Raiders showed last week against the Dragons that they aren’t afraid to run the ball on the last tackle and also will chance their arm from anywhere on the field.

Two tries came on the last tackle in Wollongong so if the Roosters send a staggered defensive line to attack the kickers, expect the Green Machine to exploit through the hands rather than the feet.

The Raiders also lead the NRL when it comes to scoring long-range tries, with 14 posted so far in season 2008.
time to start scoring from kicks again
