How pathetic was the ref, deadset went to the video ref for every play, it made it the most boring game of footy i have seen in a long time. Good on the dogs players for blowing up at him.

I was at the game and it felt like there may as well have been several timeouts and drink breaks like a trial game. Once I saw Badger was referee I knew the game was going to drag on.

Fortunately penrith scored some fine tries tonight to give the crowd something of a spectacle, the officials clearly wanted overtime pay by the looks of things

Fair dinkum there were some ordinary decisions. While not denying we deserve 50 put on us... can't we cop a f*cking break? That disallowed try could be the difference between Hazem deservedly breaking the record and not doing so.

F*ck.

Roll on '09.

Just like when you got a try allowed for Millard when he didn't get the ball down...

Yeah you got robbed with Hazem, but Millard's try shouldn't have been allowed.

So all in all the ref was an idiot, but the decisions were 60-40...Penrith have been on the rough end of referee decisions all season as well..it just happens.

I feel sorry for the Bulldogs but...geez you guys must feel terrible....but 09' looks great.

1. Luke Patten, 2. Matthew Utai, 3. Josh Morris, 4. Darius Boyd/Matt King/Daryll Millard/Tim Winitana, 5. Hazem El Masri/Heka Nanai, 6. Ben Barba, 7. Brett Kimmorley, 8. Ben Hannant, 9. Michael Ennis, 10. Jarrod Hickey, 11. Andrew Ryan, 12. Kane Cleal, 13. Reni Matuia
RES: 14. John Kite, 15. Michael Hodgson, 16. Nick Kouporitsis, 17. Michael Sullivan

Might still need an impact backrower and a reserve prop/second rower...but still looking better.

Are the Dogs after Antonio Kaufusi?..

Wasn't Hazems try disallowed because they had an offside player within 10m of the play? It's a ridiclous rule, but we've had so many tries disallowed this year where a player who had no physical effect on the play still had us penalised for being within the 10... it was good for that rule to come back and help us out.

The video referee might not have had much sympathy for you guys, but the Panthers did. We set up 2 of the tries you scored with ridiculous handling errors.
