Please meet the Storm in the finals...reality check will be the answer.;-)
Don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting us to win the comp. If we play Melbourne in Melbourne in week one, we'll more than likely get beaten, but we'll give you another fright

I want to start this by saying that Newcastle were the better side on the night and deserved the win. We played like sh*t and got what we deserved.
However, the people at the start talking about Melb getting all the 50-50 calls again - go and have a look at the penalty that lead to Newcastles second try. The 'late' hit on the kicker. FFS, the tackler can't disappear and/or defy the laws of physics to stop instantly. It wasn't late, and he could not have pulled out of it.

Gotta have at least one game where the calls dont go your way.

Speaking of 50-50, or in this case 70-30 calls, why, in god's name didn't Slater get sin-binned?

LOVED that game.

Ive never seen melbourne handled as well as newi did today. I mean they dropped some ball but i think they played as well as Newcastle let them.

Poor Melbourne, they were on the receiving end of what they've been doing for a long time now and couldn't handle the heat in the kitchen.

They kinda remind me of the schoolyard bully - they can dish it out, but when roles are reversed, they don't know what to do
Glad you liked it.

It took him few hours of cut and pasting to get it all done.

Just for Furry to shoot him down in flames. :sch:

That was no where near a 50-50 call. The referees have been penalising any late contact with the kicker since round one. There was no option other than to penalise the Melbourne player.

it was our biggest win of the year (in terms of importance)... and one of the biggest upsets of the year. we've blown the minor premiership race wide open and put ourselves in pole position for the last finals spot. let us enjoy it yeah?

Well considering not many ppl gave us a chance, I think we're entitled to celebrate the win over the best team in the comp. It's something you as a Dogs fan haven't done for a while eh? ;-)

I had a gut feeling but I ignored it:roll:

Cause tipping against the Storm is lethal,at least if you have a sh*t tipping round there's always the Storm to give you a couple of points!
