An April premiership is better than an April woodenspoon ... just ask the Rabbits.

Haha good point. This wasn't a crack at all the Titans supporters - just those who blow their load during the early stages of the NRL. Oh and come accross as complete wanks who judge others and their quality of posting.

Enjoy DeeGan!

Oh no ... you aren't taking the loss well nor do you build bridges little man  Big Pete, 'mind numbing' is the best way to sum up you contributions on this forum. That's my opinion. Deal with it.

Who's 'over celebrating' here moron? I have played down our start to the season over the weeks if you'd care to check hero. I ain't making brash predictions about my team knowing one injury to Prince and we're really going to struggle.

Sure, a small thing in comparison to Brisbane's premiership titles (which is what counts), though a small step toward showing we aren't here to make up the numbers.

As a supporter of a team in their second season, we are sitting at the top of the ladder after beating the 'big brother' in our home state - shoot me now if it's a f###ing crime to be over the moon at the moment with my team little man

Move on little man. You're making a complete d### of yourself and your team who actually have bearable supporters on this forum.

Titans are having a great start to the season - much better than I expected. Don't see why supporters shouldn't enjoy it while it lasts. We all know the season is barely getting warmed up and their's a long way to go.

It will be very disappointing if the titans miss the finals from this start. Based on past history they've only got to win 7 more games. Surely they can another 7 from the remaining 18.
Cows have been at this point a couple of times,it's just injuries really.
Prince will be in the Queensland side either as 6/7 I reckon,so that will be a tough period for you guys.

How did Wallace play?

Was looking forward to watching this game but had to go to a concert at the last minute.

He went quite well once again - up there amongst our better players on the night and even got himself a try. It's no coincidence that we're playing quite well without Lockyer in Wallace's presence. These games would've been virtual write-offs in seasons past. He's pretty much in complete control of the team and its great to see from our point of view.

It sh*ts me no end that we lost him.

I'm keeping my avatar for a long time as an eternal reminder of a management stuff up.

If there was a Clint Newton award we'd win it easily (for letting a good thing go, not for anything he brought to the game of Rugby League).

1. f**king awesome game to watch, I don't think ANY league supporter would disagree with me here.

2. Horrible, sloppy start by the Broncos and we almost lost it in the opening 17 minutes alone. sh*t edge defence which was beautifully exploited by both Campbell and Prince to gift Petersen his hat-trick.

3. Scott Prince MUST be the Australian halfback. No ifs, buts or maybes.

4. Broncos showed plenty of heart to fight back and almost steal it. Was proud of that alone.

5. I hate your guts, Gold Coast, but well done! A damn well deserved win - the better team got the points and I'm adoring a real rivalry building up between these teams. We haven't played a boring/bad game against each other yet and I hope it keeps going for decades and decades and decades.

Can't wait till the rematch at Suncorp later this year. Savour the victory, GC - it was a damn good one and you deserve your place atop the ladder.

How bad was Archer? Seriously, how bad was he? Let two Titans tries off blatant forward passes go (Laffranchi and Peterson) yet called a legitimate try back for being forward, and was really giving the Broncos the rough end of the stick all night. We'd be talking about a Broncos victory if it wasn't for his input, that's the sad truth.

Nice post miccle.

The Broncos were gallant in defeat, they showed tremendous amount of character to keep on coming back at us especially after the start we had and the loss of Hunt.

The rivalry has the potential to be a true classic. Whilst only in it's infancy, the rivalry is a healthy one. Brisbane are a club we want to replicate as best as we can on and off the field. They are the benchmark.

The rematch will be awesome and hopefully both teams are at full strength. I will take any win, especially over Brisbane, though minus Lockyer, it takes 0.01% shine off the win. I would have much preferred to beat Brisbane with their best player. If you take Prince out of team, we aren't nearly as potent. It's age old cliche.

Scott Prince is definately the form player and halfback in the competition that's for sure. Will it be enough to get a Test spot over Thurston? Not likely.

Thurston is the incumbent player (well Cronk is but JT was injured) and is amongst the top three players in the world when firing. He is a proven big game player and the selectors will reward him with their loyalty (and look, who can complain with JT at half? He is the closest thing to one A. Johns running around today).

Prince will get a look in, by no means a certain start, if Lockyer is ruled out.

Taking the loss bad? You came on here made a post about Prince to spite me and you didn't expect me to reply? Talk about pretencious.

Also talk about adding to the forums - what have you added? A Prince Is The Best Player In The World Topic...:D. Yeah great post dip s***. I'm pretty sure you had nothing to say once I was through with you. If I'm mind numbing I'd love to see what people say about you.

Enjoy the two points though - good win.

Even if Lockyer is "fit", there's no way he'll be match fit. Prince/Thurston combination for test IMO. Thursto is still all class, and has been one of the only Cows putting in 100% every week. No doubts he will fire for Aus, but you also can't exclude Prince.

Those two are class halfs... any rule that states Australia can't let 'em both wear number 7 and just rove?? Heh.

Whatever DeeGan the mere fact you couldn't accept the reality of the situation makes you the sad individual indeed.

It's just a shame you support the Titans - had it been a bigger target this silly debate would be over now.

 I like your thinking. Who knows, with the continual rule changes each season, it may come in by 2020.

Lockyer if he is able to play, will be named and should be named.

I have to say though there was one player last night that really impressed me - Sam Thaiday.
He played awesome,I hope he keeps that form and is picked for Queensland.

I hear ya' re: Thaiday's form, I think he can be the new and improved 'Raging Bull' potentially.

Darius Boyd was impressive too at fullback when replaced Hunt.
