So, in over 3 halves (120+ minutes) of football, the Roosters have only been able to score ONE try.

Pretty pathetic! Really gotta work on their attack and find who the weakest links are.

I think Amos Roberts is a weak link in defence and our 2 big centres are very unfit and become very ineffective later on in the game.

Yeah, some cringe worth stuff when you have a Souths fan bagging ANY team in the competition after a loss :?

Congrats to the Dragons (wait - is that alright PaullyBoy? Is it ok that there is some congratulating going on after their win?) today - too good. The start reminded me of their start against us where they went on to win.

Life as a Dragons fan since they merged with Illawarra must be one of THE most up and down experiences in ANY sport. Enjoy the rest of the ride.

was at the game

Dragons deserved the win but certainly had a bit of luck in them eg their second try was scored when roosters were missing a defender. Poor performance by the roosters as well. Anasta tried hard all day, o meley and myles played well as did tupou, thought mason was aweful handling wise in the second half. Improved game from soward for the dragons, put some good kicks up thats for sure.

I thought the roosters dissallowed try was fine, its a contact sport you are allowed to contest for the ball in such a situation.

I also thought (at the ground, havent seen a replay so could be wrong) the penalty against the chooks early in the second half was one of the worst i have seen. the ball gets kicked on by a dragons, the roosters and the dragons players are chasing it, the dragons player pushed, not shoulder to shoulder, clearly knocked him off the chase illegally and yet a penalty went to the dragons? I thought that was unbelievable, would love to know what that penalty was for.

I have no problem with the disallowed try, Roberts never looked like he was going for the ball, gave the video ref no option in the end. The game itself, Saints did it in the first ten minutes and got a roll on from there and Soward was always going to have a blinder against his old club. We never did look organized and I think we're missing Mini out back.
What's a bigger concern is our poor second half performances this year.
Hats off to the Dragons on a solid win.

I thought Perrett played pretty well considering he got no help from his team mates. He's a pretty decent replacement for Mini. Roberts on the other hand showed how incredibly stupid he is.

My concern is over our fitness and defense. We let dragons rack up too many metres and allowed them to make way too many dummy half runs. What happened to our defense against the Storm? Where we were rushing up and not letting the Storm get out of their own half.

it all comes down to enthusiasm, we lifted for the big games.. and now to the 'danger' games that enthusiasm has disappeared

thank god for the bye

i hope its not all downhill from here now that we are getting predictable with our kicks

It's been the other way round the past couple of weeks hasn't it. Our defense seems to stand still and wait for the opposition to come at us. Our play the balls have been frustratingly slow giving our opponents plenty of time to get set. Maybe we are buggered because there's no urgency at all.
Are we thinking the bye's a good thing after two straight losses?
