How can that McIvor idiot say this stuff knowing other people can hear it?

Warriors fans have been asking that question for many years. At least he's not calling the first grade games anymore. Not that the first grade team is much better.

Am embarrassed as a kiwi we are putting out such an awful, biased call of the match. Apologies

Going to be a severe test of Rovellis kicking game today, it has to be bang on

The rain is still pouirng down, they are copping about 6mm an hour up there at the mo

Back 3 will be crucial today cleaning up the kicks, would have been interesting to watch Manu

Jesus H Christ look at the state of the pitch in the Toyota Cup game.

I'm not knocking the Warriors or the Mt. Smart Stadium staff, but it looks like a monsoon has hit Auckland today.

Going to be a very scrappy affair I think.

Holy sh*t. The rain has destroyed the field. As Timbo said, the game is going to be so sloppy. Warriors have some decent form in their Toyota Cup team.

It's definately not going to be a prett game.

Well done to the Raiders Juniors. A little too disciplined toda, played the conditions a bit better.

Fortunately for the Junior Warriors they haven't had the same headaches winning away from home so aren't relying as heavily as the first grade team on home wins. Tough match coming up against the Panthers in a couple of weeks though.

Going to say it again though, Matulino looks like a hell of a prospect. I'm happy that they're not rushing him but it can get frustrating watching how ineffective some of the first grade forwards are. It's a big step up bt he couldn't go any worse.

Conditions are shocking. Reminds we of a Warriors V Tigers game a couple of years back.

At one stage I was reading the paper and thought I heard the crowd applauding. It was just the rain. Bucketing down.

How about Joe Picker playing 5/8th for the U20's all game

FFS look at the guide, its joe's brother MICK Picker who is in our U20's squad

This is going to be an absolutely horrid affair for the main game, the field is a mess, the conditions are hideous and both sides are prone to have handling errros... im predicting a mistakeathon

its a lottery who will win in these conditions, which ever side controls the ball better will win

Yeah that's it exactly.

Whoever holds the ball and focuses on completing sets will take the bacon.

If it comes down to kicking game then the Raiders must have an edge in that department. I feel sorry for the team that has a worse kicking game than Rovelli.

Dobson is playing?

That's bizzarre, picking a player after he's been granted a release?

I rate Dobbo highly, but you'd have to question if he'd be willing to go really hard, with a contract for Hull waiting for his signature.

It was always going to be an arm wrestle this one.

Not feeling really confident about this game, at all. If we win, I will feel mightily relieved as we have the bye in the next round.

Heart: Warriors 22-8
Head: Raiders 14-12

You could look at it the other way, he wants his last Raiders game to be a win and thank the Raiders for his release? Maybe im just trying to be a little too optimistic.

I'm worried he'll be thinking: "sh*t, if I break my leg in these conditions, there goes my contract with Hull".
