all the distractions have been infact to distract the bulldogs imo .playing at a big crowd the broncos will display an underdog style origin -esque performance . Almost scripted for a tight victory over the bulldogs .
Either that or dogs by plenty . :?

lol "luck of the draw" we beat the Storm 13+ sans Noddy. Lost 2 points against Saints due to conceded refereeing incompetence, then another 2 points from an interchange error. We're not "lucky", we're anything but. The fact we're equal first despite this is quite remarkable tbh.

Timmah - I mentioned St Georges "lucky" draw last season around Origin time where they played teams decimated by Origin duties and injuries and the Dragons fans all jumped down my throat, getting all defensive and calling me a brainless mong etc.

Take the luck as it comes your way mate. As long as the Dogs keep posting wins, who gives a f**k what anyone else thinks.

I see Doggie stylee on a pony coming up. Call the Police - that sh*t is illegal in Australia ;-)

The Broncos players seem keen as mustard to play tonight despite the club prostrating about "disrupted preparation".

I love how Dogs fans whinge about the Dragons game being decided by a refs error and then claim the Panthers one in the same breath. The Panthers had a fair try disallowed in the dying minutes which would of wrapped up the game. The refs came out and admitted the error the following week.

It's just too bad their trainers are as smart as the cards they were meant to be holding and it cost them in the end.

I think the Dogs take this one in a tight game. Motivation will be huge for the ex-Broncos playing for the Dogs. Kimmorley's return is also important. Hazem's goal-kicking to be the difference

Just to put another thought out there - why does 14 players on the field become a penalisable offence after the game instead of during it?

There's an interchange official, why can't they keep an eye on # of players on the field, who's coming on and off, and make sure there's no transgressions. If there is, the official communicates to the referee and the other team gets a penalty. It's not like its hard, all they'd have to do is count and make sure there's 4 players off the field.

If the official misses it, then it's just good luck to the team transgressing. Just like it's good luck to a team if they illegally strip a ball and don't get penalised for it.

Honestly going into this game - I'd be nervous as a Dogs' fan.
Broncos thrive in adversity.

Despite all the drama, just two changes, with Palmer Wapau dropping off Brisbane's bench, replaced by Joel Clinton. The Bulldogs have done their usual match-day swap, Warburton will start in jersey 14, swapping his bench spot for Greg Eastwood's second-row job. Eastwood will start from the bench.

Agreed, not confident at all tbh. Brisbane are due and we are probably due for a slide. Not a good feeling. Heart says Doggies by 18, Head says Broncos by 8.
