again you people dont like being proven wrong, the idiotic comments you come up with just shows it

How have you proven anything? Your example was that a team which had won 2 out of their last 12 got up for a game against their bitter rivals and then resumed that poor form, whilst the other team went on to win the premiership.

How on earth does both teams continuing their previous form after one game in 2006 prove your theory that both teams tend to falter after an intense game?

i was asked for an example , to be fair i picked that even though i was half right , like i said if the bulldogs or sea eagles do something in the finals, i will admit i was wrong

unlike some people on here i can be balanced and not bias when making a point

You weren't half right. The Cowboys were poor leading into the game, and poor after it. They didn't falter, they resumed normal service.

And I'm not biased. I am fair and balanced with every topic I discuss.

lol @ gaba. I'm going to back a Manly/Bulldogs G/F right now on the back of Gaba's posts.

I wouldn't be surprised if Goodwin doesn't get anything. Haven't seen a really good replay, but from what I saw

* Goodwin got him round the legs, not between the legs
* Robertson jumped into him to brace himself, and that's what caused the lift. Goodwin was just trying to drive him backwards.
* The "put down" didn't look too bad at all, wasn't a good replay but looked like maybe he let him down gently right at the end and he landed more on his back than his head?

I can't believe how well Goodwin is playing. Cult figure in the making.

 Take off your blue and white glasses! Goodwin did the lifting and drove him into the turf. Robertson put his arm out, if he didn't he would have landed on his head and Goodwin would be in a lot more trouble than he's in already. Great game though and there will be a few suspensions coming from it.

Mate what happened to that bullsh*t defense of yours for Goodwin's tackle??? :D

He got suspended you f**king goose, it's not rocket science.

Cooper should've been suspended for his mid-air hit on Idris in Round 10, what happened there?

WHAT??? We finished 9th that year you dunce, and that was it.

Like i said, previous to that broncos game we had 2 wins from 13 weeks of football, we won that game and our last 2 games of the season while the broncos went on to win the f**king comp.

You couldnt possibly have made a bigger asshat of yourself in this thread.

where i said teams who have a tough game within 10 weeks before the finals normally fade out , and i expect the same with manly and bulldogs

The last time Manly payed a regular season game as intense as that game was Round 22 last season against the Storm. It was probably more intense actually. Now correct me if I am wrong but that game was within 10 weeks of the finals and I think both teams made it to the Grand Final.
