gaba makes so many stupid predictions. when he finally gets one right we're not going to hear the end of it.

Earlier in the year he was saying the Bulldogs are hopeless because they've got no attack.

Now that they're leading the whole comp in attack, they're hopeless because they've got no defence.

We love you Gaba, we really do.

Poor Ben Farrah just was not destined to score at all 3times he got over the line, The one were he knocked on & then made that huge break, he should have let him tackle him short of the line as he would have known that they couldn't have checked for the knock on, anyway I think we did better out of the trade with Bani

Sharks, cowboys ,knights

Im interested to know when this happened.

2004 - made the finals for the first time ever (7th), beat the dogs then the broncos (first time ever) before being knocked out by the roosters by a few points.

2005 - flogged the red hot favourite Eels to make the grand final, only to lose to the Tigers in the GF who had flogged us in week 1 of the finals.

2006 - were rubbish for almost the whole year, no fading needed.

2007 - finished 3rd with an atrocious for/against, made it to the prelim and lost to manly

2008 - i dont think the cowboys played in 2008, i'd have to check.

so when exactly did this happen??

You're probably right, all the Cowboys fans i know had huge wraps on Farrar, but ive got to say ive been impressed with Bani so far. He's proven a few nay sayers wrong in his short time here. His try saving tackle against the Roosters was one of the best ive seen and it won us the game.

Both these teams are playing championship footy... damn I was impressed with the Dogs last night, I've under estimated then deluxe. Manly are winning the big games again and Brett Stewart's return lurks on the horizon, closing in like the sea monster in JAWS.

With the Knights putting in every week, the Saints playing champagne footy, the class in the Melbourne team, the freshness of the Titans and the combination of Thurston / Bowen at the Cowboys, this years semi-final series could be one of the real great ones.

Manly - Back to back.

What Gaba is saying is true for a few games after a match like that.
To say they fade for the rest of the season is a bit much, with another 1/3 of the comp still left to play.

The next few weeks, with this weekend in particular will be a big test for both Manly & the Dogs.
Bruising encounter last night, some dropped balls by both teams but overall a good game of footy.

I wouldn't say that both Manly & the Dogs will fade away now after last nights game.
I did mention a few weeks back that I thought the Dogs might start to struggle should they get some injuries, as they had both of their byes very early.
It's a tough gig to stay "up" and play those sort of matches week in week out for 17 weeks...which is what the Dogs will need to achieve from their last bye if they are to win the Grand Final.

but its also stupid for people to say that

and teams what have played games like what manly and bulldogs did, they do normally fade out and struggle in the finals .

Mate still waiting for some real examples?

I cant remember the exact years, but if you look through the records and results you would get a drift

Yeah it doesnt work like that mate, obviously you do remember the exact years because you're the one making the claims, and you're the one who's meant to look through the records and results and tell us when this all happened.

Either way, I just listed the records are results for you! Now im waiting to hear exactly when it happened.

like i said sides falter after big games, i havent mention any thing about how they go throughout the year.

When you read my comment i said after games like manly vs dogs game monday night

sides normally falter when they have big games before the finals from round 20 that year the cowboys did falter after that big win against the broncos

so my point is proven

yeah excellent parallel gaba. you've proven that ..... you're a tosser.

how the f**k can you 'falter' when you've won 3 out of 15 games.

How does the Broncos v Cowboys game in 2006 (The Broncos won the whole thing btw remember?) and the clubs respective form compare to the Eagles v Bulldogs game this week and the two clubs respective form?

Make a comparison, please.

But yeah, the Broncos won that year. So based on your 'pluck one game out of thin air' theory, a big game will take a side to the premiership.

see people dont like when points have been proven, if you dont like the answers then why ask to back up the claim then

i am only backing up the point that teams do falter after games when teams go at each other and its hard to make a comparison because this season isnt finish

If i am wrong so be it ,
