Well Sowards confidence must be f*cked, 5 against one and he kicks god damn and he injures himself

**Edit**

My bad, seems he didnt get hurt on the kick. But kudos to his critics he hasnt performed under pressure, a good learning experience for him tonight

I'd like to see St George playing Storm or Dogs on a level playing field. Tonight, the officials just crumbled under the home crowd pressure. The forward passes from Soward to Sailor for tries are just becoming comical. The last one must have been three metres forward. The critical Tomane no-try...well everyone saw that one.
I just hope the chickens don't come home to roost for Saints in the grand final --- because they've been fabulous for the game this year.

sure did see the tomane one ... was offside up the field ... both feet have to be behind the kicker and the grass line on the field was perfectly placed .. Should have been a penalty to the dragons ...

broken digit - you do realise that Poore went off after 30minutes and didnt return arent you? Not just the storm with a busted prop out of that game

Funny thing is, I didn't... That's an even better effort then.
Especially when you compare the two. I'd rather lose two Manu's than one Poore...

you don't need them gifed Dragon. One of them he passed it a metre behind the line and sailor caught it a metre and a half past the line. If you take into account the trajectory of a left-to-right torpedo pass it's probably thrown 3 metres forward to begin with.

Great night for us doggies fans, top 2 spot is there for the taking now if we're good enough.

Good win to the Dragons, they look the real deal this year.

On another note, after tonight I think the whole nein commentary team is now well and truly on the St. George bandwagon. Must have the supporters quite afraid. :)

just checked the first one ... soward was about 1m behind the 10m line when he threw it and Sailor caught it on or about the 10m line ... It will be one of those pass flat float forward things that depending on whether you are a dragons fan or not will dictate if you think it was a try.

Exactly, its physics... but in like a rugby league type form

St Brett will explain it to us im sure

its easy to explain ...

if you are travelling at 100kmph and throw and lob an empty maccas cup out the window at about 5 kmph backward ... the cup will actually travel 95kmph forward even though you lobbed it backwards.

ps .. i am looking at a shot of Tomane on my media centre pc ... i have a shot which clearly shows the ball still in the air and his arm on the ground ... trying to work out how to capure and post it

that confirms what I thought Rufus. The try should have been given botd on technicality, but somehow you could just tell that his arm was always going to hit the sideline before the ball hit the ground.

as a dogs fan tearing my hair out about turner. Sensational move to get past Boyd then gunned down by a second rower! I thought speed was Turner's main forte, can he motor faster than that and maybe affected by his time out from the game?

Great win tonight by the Dragons, especially when you take into account the short turnaround from the Warriors game - only a 4 day turnaround after arriving in Sydney on Monday. Also missing Smith, Cooper, Paea and Nightingale and Poore for most of the match and still performing as they did. The real impressive thing is they didn't panic when things went askew and they got behind. They just got down to business and got the result. That is the first time the Storm have lost after leading at half time. LOL at anyone trying to make excuses. If you can't see that the better side won on the night, you truly are blind.....

Don't underestimate Creagh's speed. He can motor. He used to be a winger and then a centre........He is no slouch. Turner lost a few yards after he did his knee a few years back. Prior to that he was very quick.......He is a good pick up for the dogs.....

Turner has also just come back from an ankle injury I think. Perhaps it was a wrist injury, but for some reason something tells me it was his ankle? Maybe a Storm fan can confirm.
