Broncos in a canter IMO. Raiders have NFI how to attack or defend based on their showing vs WT on Sunday, while Brisbane will be bolstered by Hunt, Thaiday and Lockyer all returning.

Broncos were terrible but for mine the difference for Canberra was no Herbert. McCrone knew his place and gave Campo the space he needed. I don't think we'll see Herbert back in a hurry. Hopefully Tom and Shillington are back next week because we'll need them against the Dogs.

At the half way mark about six weeks ago RLW tipped the Broncos to finish first in the minor premiership...that magazine has no credability

We would have still won easily with Herbert to be honest but the team looks more settled with McCrone. He seems to be a more decisive and confident player in my opinion.

McCrone played well , but tell me if he would of had the same effect if Tongue got his hands on the ball as 1st receiver. Thats what the difference is and we have won a few times that way.
the halves had depth and the rest of the backs reaped the awards.

well played Raiders.

Can't wait to see how McCrone goes next week. Is he the reason why Tongue stayed away from first receiver or did he finally learn his lesson?

DOn't know. Campese was first receiver for whole match with McCrone one out from him and Tongue thankfully no where to be seen.

The Raiders thrashed the Broncos... the Knights got pummelled by the wooden spooners... ahhh what a perfect night.

:D:D:D:D:D

How good is Jarrod Croker? This kid has so much potential, I'm really impressed with him. And to think he started 2008 in SG Ball. Tilse was immense yet again, Logan acted like he wants a contract for next year, and Campese was back in form. And how bloody good is Josh Dugan? f**k me, this kid is special.

Was I the only one who took great pleasure in seeing Justin Hodges comprehensively shown up in every facet of the game by a 19 year old?

Oh and a big f**k you to Chris Ward. Two wrongs don't make a right you f**king incompetent merkin. NOBODY WAS f**kING OBSTRUCTED. Yet another example of how Robert Finch is ruining the game, and must resign or be sacked immediately.

Now, bring on the Bulldogs. We've shown we don't fear top 4 sides this year, big TLL is back, and I smell blood.

Seems very reminiscent of the tripe Penrith dished up in canberra around this time last year and there was no coming back from that for penrith and there won't be any coming back from it for the Broncos I think.
