Hmm, was hoping the Cowboys would win this.

They are going to be pretty desperate for a win against the Broncos next week now.

Yes we will be looking to continue our impressive record of 3 wins from 30 matches against the Broncos.....

Cowboys will get out to a 22-6 lead at half time, be raging favourites, with broncos at about $4.00 for the win. Going to put $100 on the Broncos for the match. Certainty to win, 4th game in a row that we butchered the 2nd half! Whats the go???

 @ Thurston. Cheshire cat when things are going well, but when they start to go pear shaped, he acts like a petulant little child. It's great.

Much like another highly competitive halfback in Newcastle.

^LOL Subjective perverse..especially skill...
LOL maybe a little subjective... but go and watch thurstons 2nd half in defense from the weekend! LAUGHABLE!! in fact the gidley out of the in goal was thurstons fault.. and then he backed it up 3 seconds later with a pussy little arm grab at mullen! 2 horrible misses in the space of 5 seconds! best in the world my arse. surely this bait can't keep working...

i'm sorry, but that never happened to the great one. johns sat props on their arses 1 on 1... 30 times in a match occasionally. you could say johns had double the skill just for his defense ALONE (it is half the game, after all)... let alone how much more he lifted average first graders to rep quality by his mere presence. blokes like brad tighe made a living out of being told what blade of grass to stand on, catching a ball and running forwards. if this gets another bite i'll be amazed...

Yeah I would say there is still a significant gap between Joey and JT, the largest difference is the defense where Joey used to turn the momentum with his defense as well as with a 40-20 or a spectacular pass. The other difference imo is the week in week out grind.

JT has the same competitive streak though which pushes him further. JT has his best years ahead of him too, but at the moment I reckon half is a good measurement.
