Just got back from the game...a bloody scrappy affair and the wind was a shocker.

Manly scored whenever they attacked...as simple as that.

The passing in the backs was poor and this was a major difference...Manly looked composed on attack.

Someone needs to shoot that cat Matai. Hopefully Gal is at his bruising best next week. We probably won't win but it would be nice to bruise and cut a few of those Manly primadonnas, north shore real estate selling, chequebook weiling grubs.

I wouldn't go that far. It was a pretty scrappy game, neither team looked great. I thought the main difference was Manly's forwards especially Rose. Still good to win at OP for the first time and stay in the eight.

The positives that Manly can take is that they guttsed it out when it got close...Slater bombed a winner in the last minute and should have passed it to Turner...these chances cannot missed but Kudos Manly...good win.

The odds are more in favour of your lot capitulating like the hopeless gaggle of ineffectuals responsible for your current state of uncompetitiveness.

Scrappy result. Big win for our finals hopes. The thing I am still shaking my head about is in the end it came down to goal kicking. Somehow Orford managed to kick 4/4. That is 10/10 in his last two games?!?!?!?

Still scratching my head as to how we lost that game tbh.
Arsey tries by Manly and good goalkicking by little Orford was the dif. I think.
Who are the big buffoons in No.10 and 11 and 16 for Manly, who kept hugging onto our players all day like they were in love?;-)

ahaha i agree there was alot of love out on the field. I was so pissed off near the end of the game when we were only 2 points infront and the storm player knocked the ball on and then manly knocked on and he gave the scrum feed to melb 10 out from the tryline. It would be a big talking point had storm scored and won the game. Im just happy Tomane and Cronk knocked the ball on over the tryline. I dont care how scrappy the game was, when you go to melbourne and come back with the 2 points thats a massive effort in itself.
