I can tell you what we haven't done:

Trained out of a shipping container, owed hundreds of thousands to our stadium, had numerous steroid busts, had our best ever played shown to be a junkie, had our best player face court for an alleged sexual assault after a team launch because he was p1ssed senseless then shown that it wasn't a once off (lets see how the court case pans out...great advertisement for the NRL), had another player slap one of our sponsors.........it goes on and on.......

You are right, there is alot our club hasn't done, maybe we can look towards your teams as shining beacons of how a Rugby League side should be run.

I just think it's so cute when people start up pissing contests between clubs when what they have achieved, have done or haven't done has nothing to do with you on a personal basis. Sure, if you're secretly a member of the coaching or management staff or maybe an ex-player, then by all means play the bragging card. Naturally, idiots on this forum (Not just Souths fans here, Knights fans too..) seem to think it's some basis for a winning formula in an argument and carry on like they lead the team to victory. Durrrr I support a better club than you. That's tops, I'm arguing with you, not your f**king club.

What I have over (what I guess is a fair amount) the Souths fan is that I was alive to witness my team's premierships. I experienced that pride and joy myself. I have seen my team succed during my lifetime thus far, not sit at the bottom end of the table year in and year out.

That little 'bragging right' aside though, I can't believe I agree with Timmah that this topic is just pretty f**king stupid. This game was two weeks ago; Souths won we lost. Time to build a bridge and get over it imo... we will see who ends up where, then feel free to brag about it ;-)

I've been a Souths fan since we came back in the comp and a few years before hand.

I've experienced every bad season, yes it's been terrible. I forgot what it was like to be able to win constantly. Wanting to experience that is a great feeling, it's better when we pull it off. This is the best feeling in sport, knowing that your team has won. This is what keeps you going.
