Although I'm very happy at the moment, I know that we fade, and fade badly in second halves, and Parra have been a good back end team this year, so this is not even close to being over.

A few notes, FPN- Best game ever for him, good work son. Halves both on their game tonight, especially their attacking kicks. Outside backs have been great at getting our sets on the front foot early. Soliola was having a decent game and made a HUGE hit but went off before halftime with some facial injury, I presume Sa will play at center now. Overall a good game from the whole team, would like us to cut down on basic errors for this half though.

I reckon the eels are the nrl's laziest,apathetic team and they should be embarassed.Due to respect to the Roosters but your players aren't exactly a paragon of committment.
The problem is that a lot of their players think they're better than they are and that they can get away without putting any effort in until they have to.
Must be painful having to support and pay decent money to support a team of wannabe underachievers

Think Mr Anderson needs to take a scalpel to this team and perform some major surgery,he could start with cutting out the deadwood forwards who lack any flair whatsoever and then move onto the young guns at the back who think they're born superstars.

Indeed. I have my mind set that Jaryd Hayne is not a 5/8's ball sack. He does nothing he would do differently play at center really. I hardly noticed him until he got that intercept then walked over the dead ball line.

Super happy with the way the boys played though, very impressive defensive effort. Parra had over 50 tackles in our 20 but only scored through an intercept!

I love beating Parra.
Top defensive effort but why has it only been seen twice this season. We've played 4 wooden spoon contenders to start the year and only won 2. Next 3 weeks are the real deal, Brisbane Warriors (in NZ) and St Merge. If we get 2 wins out of this we will be in top form imo.

AND WHY CANT WE KEEP SOMEONE TO NIL!!

slow grinding wins.. unable to put them away, a heap of penalty goals
