No Saffy, Poore started with Nightingale on the bench

Dragons scrambling defence has been far too good for us, but damn I'm happy with how we've played

Ahh how sweet it is, except looks like we picked up a couple injuries. Gallant effort Parra

What is Saffy's injury?

Also I think Weyman may be in a bit of trouble at the judiciary

Parra were inept. Inu and Tau Tai (whatever his name is) should never play on the same side of the field again.

Very happy with that effort against a side that are looking increasingly like genuine premiership contenders...we gave very little away and I dare say there will be some battered and bruised Dragons tomorrow. Ultimately, your scrambling defence is what beat us IMO, it was fantastic and stopped us scoring several tries...

I thought execution was the difference tonight. The amount of dropped ball from Parra, in good positions, was killing them.

I agree, i thought the Eels really battered our blokes, they looked very sore at the end. Parra will come good if they can keep that attitude up.

Yeah eels surprised me, last year the eels would have won no doubts

Unlucky for them and lucky for the dragons supporters the dragons arent the same team as recent years

Correction: last year the Dragons would have found a way to lose.

no we would have lost, that first 20 minutes from the Eels was great, last year we probably give up 2-3 tries easy but this yearwe hold on and force the Eels to be tryless for the entire game and probably should have had a cleansheet bar the ref allowing a tackled player to play on. all in all awesome effort by the team with only one prop and a dummy half on the bench for the game. Our attack is starting to click as well. Not sure what Bennett is thinking with the bench but it is working so cant complain
