I'm hoping Jones on the bench is just some kind of Freddy playing mind games, as Friend had a blinder in defence last week, and provides a good kicking game and does some good attacking things aswell.

I would give Ryan Williamson a go at center, Sa to second row, Mason to bench and Kennedy to get a bit more experience under the belt in NYC.

Oh and Chook, I think you rate them too highly over our blokes.

Nah. Hunt isn't THAT much better then Perrett, and the fullbacks don't really impact each others game anyway. Waqa and Aubusson sh*t all over Winterstein and Micheals. Sa and SKD are the real danger, both good players but Hodges is the top centre in the game and Folau is a beast.
And while Brisbanes halves are better, again the halves like the fullbacks have their own games to think about, and will be more worried about the forwards running at them than their opposite numbers.

Every year I look at the draw in anticipatioin for a game up here in Brisbane but have been very disappointed for the last few years. At least something about the roosters is making the papers up here for a change.

I thought we were going to see him this week, with Soliola being out but Sa took his spot at center. Unfortunatley we will have to wait a bit longer to see him in first grade.
