I'd like to see him give Brisbane one season without having rep commitments. Would have been great to see him walk away with another gf win.

Still, you have to respect the man's decision. He doesn't owe anyone anything.

Do you really think it was Locky playing rep footy that kept you guys out of the GF?

Anyhoo, I think he def had another year of club footy left in him. I thought he was finished after that bad knee injury a few years back but his management of that rehab was excellent.

still I think there's more to lose than to gain for both the club and locky. He may ahve a year in him, he may have half a season in him, regardless we still need to develop a good 6 and that wont happen if we bring locky out of retirement when things get tough.

He'd probably still be our best 6 option for another 2 seasons, doesn't mean he should stay though.

Not at all. We survived the origin period this year in pretty good shape IMO

Somehow you've misunderstood.

I was implying that if Locky went around again.......next year he could be walking away with a GF.

The fact that I said it would be good to have him play a season without the rigours of rep football had nothing to do with the GF comment.
