Listening to Manu's interviews last night he made plenty of references to the "brothers".

The bro culture is alive and kicking and I actually think Kearneys brocess encourage it.

Well, we all know that the bro culture is very much alive, to our hurt. But I hardly think Manu's use of the word 'brothers' is damning evidence of that.

All in all, great thread Oz

I've learnt the term Toko this past year. There was only one place I'd learn that.

Maybe he meant team mates ?

Dunno how good a thread it is, but I honestly believe Lowie was onto something and that has been vindicated this season.

I learnt we are unfit.
Some have no desire to do the little things.
We can't/don't communicate.
Our captain is not captain material.
Most have no passion for the game.
We have players clock off and it gets exploited by opposition.
Foran is half the man he was made out to be.
We don't seem to know our jobs/roles.
There is no accountability.

Ben Matulino, Manu Vatuvei and Konrad Hurrell are names that I have heard on this forum, as members that are tied into this 'bro culture'. I don't know for a fact if some or all of these 'bros' are in this group, but I do know that Hurrell is gone and Manu and Ben are on their way out so maybe Kearney is looking to get rid bro culture.

Maybe.. Kearney and Wiki praised the " brotherhood" ( remember Dire Straits,Brothers in arms) to the absolute max when we league World Cup.

I think it has got out of hand and has become a negative part of the team psych/culture.

It's not just a brown boy thing either imo..

Yea.. Everytime I hear it I think of the Kiwis.. awesome song.

It's all like living in the past with the Warriors now, and even Kiwis.

I'm the same with Poi E, heard it on a little makeshift beatbox smuggled in by a fan right through 2011. It peaked for me at the Tigers semi, right through the glorious comeback...I'll never forget it.
