Hey dino enjoy it while it last. The knights and now the donkeys have fallen from the perch.
For every win we are one game away from a lost.
Hey our attack isn't flash but a win is a win. It's only April. Strong defence will bring confidence in attacks.

cheers Minh......could only get the game early this morn on my I pad....was just getting the live updates.....when Hunt kicked a 40/20 with a few mins to go..my battery went flat....have you ever seen a grown man running around the lounge room like a maniac looking for a UK to Aussie power point that was me....found our travel adapter plugged it in gave the pad the quickest charge ever....after what seemed like an eternity finally got enough juice in it to get the update...and the final score 12 to 10...then I continued to act like a maniac but this time it was jumping around the lounge room with huge smile on my face.....glad no one was watching....happy days

Don't know what more you want. Our attack isn't perfect but it's good and improving rapidly. There is more variety in attack than we've seen in years and the players are full of self belief and will find a way to win.

But for me so many players are punching above their weight and appear to be better players collectively and individually for whatever Mary and Co. or doing with them. That is what has me really excited.

Cmon mate... The history of the game suggests the best form of attack is defence. The attack will come. We have been winning with not a whole lot of great field position. Our bigger issue is still some crucial errors in our own territory which is putting us under a lot of pressure. Add to this Benji marsahlls bad last play options. The attack will come. Dugan is starting to look very dangerous. Finally getting involved and trying to bash people when he runs. It's taken him a few weeks to hey going.

Widdop had his best game IMO and is now starting to get going.

Also, day football will help.

I'll admit I was skeptical this season. Still am to some extent, however the solid defense has made me a believer! I think we will easily make the finals and who knows what can happen from there.

Just two things I hope they fix...nabulis defence (I love him in attack! Reminds me of lot I tuqiri in his prime). Sometimes he comes running in leaving the wing open and is caught in the middle. We dodged a bullet with the broncos losing it over the line. But he recovered well to force it so credit there.

And secondly..rein. Every time he passes the ball I'm waiting for the ref to call it forward. His style of passing is like his body moves back after the pass.

Attack wise...when Benji has the ball things are happening. You can just feel the moimentum of the team change. Players are in motion expecting the unexpected. As much as I hated the tigers, I always admired Benji for his talent and I think he is getting back to his best widdop performed well and is getting better. His kicking and conversions have been spot on....I prefer when Benji takes the lead though

Best game I have seen both cooper and the plodder ah mau play. It's like plodder finally realised he's a big unit and played with aggression. Gotta give credit where it's due. Let's hope they can keep it going for the whole season, as players who keep playing above their so called abilities are the key to making the finals,...

Gus made mentioned of it last week....it's like our forwards have all made the decision to tackle and run harder, probably from sheer embarrassment from the debacle of last year, including the Mason insult.

It's essentially the same pack, which shows what can happen when their minds are on the job.

Credit where credit is due, Mary has achieved this with the same players that Price could do nothing with.

:crazy: It's a nice feeling to be a maniac and excited again for a good reason, just shows that the Mighties are a decent team again and wont be trampled over easily. This helps erase a lot of ill feeling of the Price era. The season is still a long way to go but I think this team will at least compete against anyone with such steel in defense and with Benji and Widdop running the show and Thommo, Dugan and Frizzel running good lines off of them.:)
