Really gutsy victory for the Warriors today. Down 2 interchange players for a lot of the game and we still hang on. We looked dead after Souths got it back to 26-24.

I am really pleased we got back into the game, got ahead and hung on. I am proud of the boys. Souths made errors to let us off the hook when they had us on the ropes, but for us to hang on with a 2 man bench was immense.

Well done Warriors. Gutsy win for you guys. A frustrating day at the office for us today. We were our own worst enemies for 3 of the 5 tries that were scored and the Warriors adjusted to the conditions better I thought.

Oh and Warriors fans, why do you guys play Ian Henderson at dummy half ? He seems to stuff up your attack a lot with his useless runs.

He plays a few roles these days- he's not exclusively our alternate hooker. I think he played more hooker than he normally may today because Heremaia wasn't 100%

Hendo can be a very good runner from dummy-half (as he showed in 2008), but he needs to pick his moments. Too often he goes solo when there are much better options outside of him.

As an aside whoever is manning the siren must be a bunnies fan. Blew it 15 seconds early in the 1st half with the warrior on the attack, then delayed it at the end of the game to allow Souths one more play :lol:

having caught the highlights now, the sky clock is woefully out of sync with the stadium clock!
