Same thing seems to happen year after year. Start the year well and then we have rep season distractions, injuries and other teams start getting desperate to win, we don't seem to have another gear to step up. Worrying signs that 'performance' today.

The bright side is that even when we don't show up we somehow manage to score points pretty easily. Our defence is a joke though. Our slide down the ladder last season happened when Petero Civoniceva was injured in Origin. After todays performances I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen again.

Left with five to go to avoid the traffic delays so thankfully missed the last bunnies try.

Souths were very hungry and deserved there win.

Oh man did we squander some chances. Still at times we looked promising, a little bit annoyed about a couple of penalties at the start of the game where we got penalised for holding and it looked the tackle hadn't even been completed. Still Souths played awesomely and deserved their win. Great job. Looks like your forward pack are the real deal.

We need to run some defensive drills I think.
