If I'm not mistaken Cummins ensured your team didn't concede a penalty until well into the second half last Sunday...
Correct... Cummins is a Raiders troll he does every thing possible to get Canberra over the line.
As do most refs.:sarcasm:

Hopefully they are not bringing back Lyon early like they did last time.

I dont know why people are saying this. He wasnt back early he had a f**king 200kg monster jump on his ankle which would hurt the most healthiest player.

I also read in the paper Dugan pulled out of 18th man of the blues squad due to injury, will that put him out of this game???

We are an absolute joke atm.

The scoreline won't be a blow out, something like 22-10, however it will be a VERY comfortable win for the sea eagles. Even if we lose by 6 the result won't at any stage be in any doubt.

We will dominate them in the forwards as usual but it will mean sweet FA with our non existent attack.

I think this will be the only game i will ever feel comfortable with the opposition team getting a full set of six even if they were only 10 metres from the try line.

Is someone out for the Raiders this weekend? The odds are extremely long for the Raiders, there paying something like $3.85. Maybe Dugan is out?

If Dugan was out the odds would be in the $5.00

He did fail the NSW medical for the 18th man I believe.

We deserve to be massive odds.

Having said that, it won't be a blow-out, a forward pack is too good to let that happen. We'll be lucky to register 12 points though unless we change our attacking style (which I'm not expecting untill we are officially out of contention).

Manly Sea Eagles v Canberra Raiders

GREG PRICHARD

July 8, 2010 - 5:30PM
Saturday, Brookvale Oval, 5.30pm
Referees:
Ben Cummins and Brett Suttor
Head to head:
Sea Eagles 24, Raiders 14, drawn 1
Last clash:
Sea Eagles 20-14 at Brookvale Oval (rd 15, 2009)
TAB SportsBet:
Sea Eagles $1.25, Raiders $3.85
FootyTab:
Raiders +7.5

If the Sea Eagles don't win this one at home, then people may start to question whether they will actually make the finals. And that is why we are likely to see them return to something approaching their best form here. They had the bye last weekend, so they've had plenty of time to work on the problems that have seen them drop back into that crowded middle section of the competition table. The Sea Eagles have lost three of their last four games, including a 40-22 loss to the Panthers at their last start.
The Raiders continue to be a disappointment. They can look so good at times, when their big forward pack is dominating and their promising fullback Josh Dugan is finding space off the back of that, but most of the time they can't get their act together for long enough to win games. They have been particularly disappointing at home, losing five of seven games there. They have a win-loss record of 3-5 away, while the Sea Eagles are 4-3 at home. Jamie Lyon's return from injury is a big plus for the Sea Eagles..

Laurie Daley's round 18 preview

Fox Sports commentator Laurie Daley offers his thoughts and predictions for round 18 of the NRL premiership.
Manly v Canberra, Brookvale Oval, Saturday 5.30pm (EST)
I think the Eagles will be too good. The Raiders have lost four in a row. They have had plenty of ball to win games but have not been constructive enough to do anything with it. So their attack is struggling, their defence is at sixes and sevens and they are not playing with any confidence. So the Manly side will win and win well.

Coach under pressure, rumours of player unrest, played awful for over a month with no signs of turning it around... this potent mix of conditions usually leads to a team rising up and winning against the odds.

I can dream can't I?
