Anyone know which teams are playing in the Schoolboys cup?

Sorry, forgot to add it in when I copied my info across. In there now - should be a cracker, it's Palm Beach-Currumbin vs Keebra Park.

No Lockyer would/will going to miss this game by the sounds of it..make this game even more interesting. The Eels are fighting for their season - a loss would make their fading playoff hopes even more faint. I now think that the Broncos don't place as great a reliance on Lockyer as they used to - so they should do alright.

Ray Price is quoted as saying to the Eels players "Have a go!".

Despite no Lockyer, I think the Broncos should still take this one...just.

I do agree that no Lockyer doesn’t affect the Broncos as much as it used to, however, I do think that it affects the opposition and raises their self belief.

Parramatta surely can’t play as bad as the last 2 weeks, with their faint almost non-existent finals hopes on the line I think they will win by 4

I still think the Broncos will win although it will be close. The Broncos just seem to warm to the task at this time of year. I'm not a big Broncos fan, but you've gotta hand it to them, they're a big match team and should win this game against an Eels side with shattered confidence. With Ben Smith and Fui Fui out, the Eels won't have the go forward they need. Hayne can't do it all himself. Broncos by 8 even without locky

Parramatta Eels preparing as if Darren lockyer will play for Brisbane Broncos

By David Beniuk
August 11, 2010 Parramatta co-captain Nathan Cayless says the Eels are preparing for injured Brisbane Broncos skipper Darren Lockyer to play in Friday's must-win NRL clash at Suncorp Stadium.
The Broncos have said Test five-eighth Lockyer will miss two weeks with a rib injury suffered in last Friday's win over North Queensland Cowboys.

"They're saying he's not going to play but he's a pretty tough guy and they're coming seventh so they probably need to keep winning," Cayless said.

"We're preparing as if he's going to play."

"I've seen him play through so many different types of injuries so I won't believe that until I see it on Friday night, that he doesn't run out with the team."

Cayless, who will retire at season's end, will break Sydney Roosters great Brad Fittler's record of 216 games as an NRL club captain in the match.

"I feel very privileged to be able to do it for so long," the 32-year-old said.

"It's been a huge honour. It's something that I've enjoyed doing and I just want to make the most of the remainder of my career."

"I just want to rip in for however long we've got left and get as many good results go our way as we can."

Pre-season premiership favourites the Eels need to win all four of their remaining games to realistically have any chance of making the finals.

Eels would have to be sure things to win this game, they are paying $2.10 aswell, which is not bad.
