parra's attack play was going nowwhere and they let their defence down in the most critical moments. Something tells me they'll work on this and come back stronger next week. Frankly, the fact that the tigers didnt get more points on the board was surprising considering the calibre of their attack and defense.
I thought the Tigers attack was ordinary in the first half but they were dominating at the tackle - they didn't need to do anything but grind away and grubber in-goal.
They looked better in the second half, especially the couple of moments of Benji brilliance.
Actually the Tigers are a lot like the Dragons - a strong, dominant forward pack and solid backs. The difference is the Tigers have what the Dragons desperately need in order to win the comp; a superstar.
If the Tigers keep playing like that they could win the comp again. Parra have the wizardry to win the comp but if they can't learn to grind away they'll be lucky to make the 8. Fui was excellent again but Hindmarsh and Cayless are getting old and Justin Poore has been dreadful this year. He
should be the piece missing from last year's premiership loss (that and a halfback) but he
could be another Aaron Cannings.
