This was a much more comprehensive victory than the score suggests. The Eels have been woeful.

Hater.

Parra were never in it.

...they were 7 points behind, with enough time to score, less than 20m out from the Tigers line. Hayne surrendered then dropped it, Benji scored on the next tackle.

You have to realise that sometimes Hayne will be criticised. I know it's hard for you. Try to deal with it. You'll be ok.

Mate they were lucky to only be 7 behind. Hayne can't get man-of-the-match every week. The rest of the team have to stand up eventually.

Impressive how the commentators can continue talking about the Eels even after they lose.

People like to watch exciting teams mate and everyone loves an enigma. They would've been disappointed tonight though.

Parra to win the Premiership. Or miss the 8.

They obviously haven't decided yet.

Marshall easily MOM.. Tuquiri was awesome as well

Hayne was pretty terrible today.. he typifies the Eels mental attitude... lazy. They just play very slowly, not helped by Robson's stop and stutter style of play

Yeah Marshall MOTM, but Ellis was very, very dominant too.

Grothe was the worst player on the park. He will be having nightmares about Lote this week. Poore was true to his name

tigers have found there fullback in beau ryan :D

also a lot of people talk about how much the tigers defense is bad but when u got guys like fulton, payton and gibbs on the sideline for the 2nd game i wounder why

remember tigers were the 6th best defensive team in the league last year as well

Parramatta's single biggest problem is Ben Smith. Seriously. He offers nothing with the ball, nothing in defence, and gives away a minimum of 3 penalties away each game, usually through laziness.

His attitude seems to rub off on the rest of the team. When he's on, the Eels are on, mentally at least.

Whether you were lucky to be 7 points behind or not is irrelevant - they were somehow in a position to win it.

Needing to score twice? Mate they were out of juice, out of ideas and out of luck.

They were never going to score twice in ten minutes. Only some Reddy and Hayne magic let them score two in 70.

parra's attack play was going nowwhere and they let their defence down in the most critical moments. Something tells me they'll work on this and come back stronger next week. Frankly, the fact that the tigers didnt get more points on the board was surprising considering the calibre of their attack and defense.

I thought the Tigers attack was ordinary in the first half but they were dominating at the tackle - they didn't need to do anything but grind away and grubber in-goal.

They looked better in the second half, especially the couple of moments of Benji brilliance.

Actually the Tigers are a lot like the Dragons - a strong, dominant forward pack and solid backs. The difference is the Tigers have what the Dragons desperately need in order to win the comp; a superstar.

If the Tigers keep playing like that they could win the comp again. Parra have the wizardry to win the comp but if they can't learn to grind away they'll be lucky to make the 8. Fui was excellent again but Hindmarsh and Cayless are getting old and Justin Poore has been dreadful this year. He should be the piece missing from last year's premiership loss (that and a halfback) but he could be another Aaron Cannings.

btw i know a lot of people are talking up Burgess but i think mark flanagan seems like he could be a great player as well, hes last 2 games has been amazing
hits hard in defense, runs good lines and doesnt seem to miss any tackles in defense
