Shouldn't have had to kick the ball off. That simple. The refs changed the game there and then. Newcastle went downhill rapidly after that. They were awful after that, but were in the game before that crucial error.

Maybe you should look at the tone of your posts son. You arrogance is showing.

I actually think my posts are fine... but thanks for trying to exceed your bitterness. Anyways back on topic.. knights just didnt have anything to offer tonight.. next week they will be alot stronger :)

Any news on Rose's injury?

Manly has scored 78 points in 3 games now, that's average of 26 per game which is about top 4 in the comp so far. So much for possibly struggling to get points without Orford eh.

Knights need an injection of enthusiasm and leadership. Hopefully that plus more comes next week when hopefully Gidley, Sau, Vuna and Cross return.

The refs did make a mistake, but if your side is going to let one try like that get the best of them they deserve to lose.

Manly got te wobbles again in the 2nd half, just the Knights were woeful.
But atleast the manly halves looked like they have a big future together.

the ref was totally on manly's side..
after last week, and being a "home" game, it was alwas going to be that way.. unfortunatly thats the way nrl has been this year...:?

with that said,
manly still whipped the skin off the lazy knights

You must remember that football is not the Newcastle players main form of income. Any Danny or Chris can tell you that. And wasn't Tony Williams hopeless again, only instrumental in two brilliant tries.

Newcastle played a lot of ordinary footy and had some lacklustre defence but fair dinkum the ref gave Manly enough momentum with some hopeless calls during the game. Off to OPSM with them I think.

Strangely if Canterbury win today, they'll be in front of the Knights despite losing to them a fortnight ago... :D

Manly = best first-half team in the competition.

Three games played, 58 points for, 10 against.
